Forest Canopy Thekkady

Thank you for an amazing few days. The rooms were beautiful and the food choice was amazing! The location is wonderful with great views and easy access to the elephant sanctuary, tiger reserve, and kalaripayattu show. Thanks to the restaurant team Mr Varun, Mr Nazeeb, Muthuraj and Vijash Shib. Also thanks to the reception team Liju, Anoop, Anand, and Jayesh. We hope to come back very soon.

We stayed for 2 days and 2 nights at The Canopies, and the name says it all — we truly felt like we were living among the treetops. The staff were always friendly and helpful. We stayed in a two-bedroom cottage with two spacious rooms, attached bathrooms, and two beautiful balconies with stunning views — more than enough space for our family of four. The resort is built on a slope, and you can walk or take their van to different levels, including the restaurant at the top. Since it was June (off-season), the resort was quiet, and dining felt warm and personal — like eating with family. The food and service were excellent. Our favorite part was the play area near the restaurant with board games, where they also served tea and hot snacks in the evenings — perfect since it rained almost the entire time. There’s also outdoor play are for tiny tots and a small badminton play area too and I’m sure it’s a busy place during peak season. We spent most of our time between the cottage, restaurant, and play area, and felt truly relaxed. There are plenty of nearby attractions — Periyar boat ride, elephant experiences, Kathakali, Kalaripayattu, spice plantations etc . The staff can help arrange trip packages, but we kept it low-key due to the rain and still loved our stay. This is a beautifully designed resort with something for everyone — cozy cottages, play areas, toys for kids, a pool near the restaurant, and amazing views. A great choice for both small and large families or groups of friends. Highly recommended!

Well maintained property.. so much greenish around. People are so much friendly .Very good room service & restaurant service.Longed to taste Fresh jackfruit and requested it . Mr. ANOOP had got me that with little risk. In restaurant Mr Muthu,Mr Vijesh & Mr Shibiraj had served excellent. Due to travel sickness in long travel we planned not to eat and these 3 helped me pack my breakfast so beautifully. Vegetarian food is good quality and taste. Kids play area is good. They have minimal activities yet good for adults like carrom, chess, snacks time. Enjoyed complete stay.

Good stay and nearer to market.. Also luxury property and kind behaviour of staff. Also food is good but costly. Property is good. Value for money

Great place, located amidst the lush greenery of Thekkady. Additionally, you’ll feel at home with the staff being very friendly & courteous. Would definitely come back for another staycation!
