"This time, I stayed overnight on the way to visit a grave in the mountains of Osaka. I worked part-time in the morning and left in the afternoon, had a late lunch at a grated yam restaurant in Yokkaichi, then headed to the inn. I took a short break, looked for a bath with a sauna that my son likes, and went there again, then returned to the inn and walked to eat dinner. The izakaya was closed on Saturday night due to the weather, so we went to a ramen restaurant instead. Staying overnight made it easy to get to and from work, which was good for my old body."

"Very very good choice! Not far from the station. Large room space, so large that I can open my luggage and leave it open, and then still have enough space to walk around. Prepared a small table, which I put My laptop bag, and other shopping item, directly, after entering room. Another higher table with chair to sit down and eat my bento. A small shuriken up the bed, super happy to see it. They put effort to maintain the ninja city. 7-11 is near, within walking distance, but AEON is a bit far. Takes me around 30 minute to reach, and even more time consuming when I come back hands full. The hotel itself is a Ninja City signature, some replica is there for photos shoot. Vending machines available, and free coffee accordingly to the time stated there."

"From the first moment till the last everything is very organized and taken care off. We had room 103 which is gorgeous, there is a private garden, a bath / onsen. The beds were very spacious and the pillows perfect size and fluffy. We had dinner in their restaurant, it was the best food we had on our trip. I would say it’s Michelin star worthy. Sake paring with the food was super nice. And the staff was friendly and nice. Thank you!"

"This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in a Japanese hotel. I have used 4 in the last 2 weeks and the first 3 were great, with helpful staff, with pristine service. I arrived at Ueno Frex wet, after having had to walk in the rain, as I couldn’t get a taxi. The building was not inviting, but was large and not surprisingly, empty. I was early and asked for an early check in, so I could dry off and relax. No problem I will warm up with a coffee supplied by a machine in the lobby. No chance, that little comfort finished at 10, and didn’t start till I checked in. The room was large, but a charge to use the tv was apparent, the toilet leaked from the base, I was bitten by mosquitoes, probably arriving through dank s as it conditioning unit. What a disappointing end to my trip to Japan, where all the other hotels (of which I have mentioned in prior reviews) where polite, accommodating, and willing to help with late check outs and early check ins! NEVER AGAIN!"
