Rain Farm Game Lodge

We were booked into the Falcon room (one of three of this style) which advertises a fully equipped kitchette however there are no pots/pans provided, no gas either for the stove as this was stopped “about three years ago”. These rooms are still being advertised as such which is disappointing. These units are therefore not self catering as advertised and is inconvenient when you have spent money on food which can’t be used (for its purpose). The staff however are lovely & the farm itself is tranquil; it does not feel like one is 14km out of Ballito!

Our stay at the Rain Farm Game Lodge and Spa was amazing. The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely devine. The game drive was lovely and the ranger was very informative. There is nothing I can fault the Lodge on. Well done to the Rain Farm Lodge and Spa!

We loved everything about the place. Definitely visiting again. We woundnt mind going there over and over again. If u looking for a place to unwind and connect..rainfarm is the place for you. Me and hubby really enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfect. From food, activities, service 10/10!!

Beautiful place,had a good stay with my friend,we booked for 4 people but ended up being 2 ,But they were very understanding and manage to find another room to accommodate us ,special thank you to Precious

My hubby and I had the pleasure of staying at Rain farm game lodge for out anniversary. We stayed in a tree top unit. The staff were professional and friendly. The unit had all the amenities needed. Big bed, ample clothing space, beautiful bathroom. Stunning view. The food, which was included, was delicious. We had a lovely suprise when we opened the fridge and had a plate with brownies on with happy anniversary written on it ,in chocolate . Aaaand, rose petals on the bed.Thank you for an awesome stay.

I will never recommend Rain Farm Lodge to anyone. It is bat infested and even had a sign on the wall warning if bats enter the room how to remove them. My hubby and I booked for our anniversary. The food was soaked in fresh cream. As soon as we entered our room there were 4 bats flying around. A window was left open upon arrival and this was after 8pm I was terrified and locked myself in the bathroom. We left and didn't stay the night but were refused a refund. There were spiders crawling in the bed under the covers. The manager refused to grant even half of what we paid which was R3000 for 1 night. We were told that if we called them which we did they would have removed the bate which we were not happy with. What if more came back during the night? There definitely have an issue with bats as they had a sign in the room warning of this. Rain farm please address your bat issues. People can't be sleeping overnight with bats flying above their heads. And at least half of our money should have been refunded as we only spent 10 min in the room. We didn't even go for the game drive or stay for breakfast
