Travelodge London Ilford

It’s more spacious than the other 2-person bedroom we booked for our sons. It’s corner room. A bit pricier but it’s good for families with young kids. Love that the bathroom is at the other end of the room with extra exit space. Do visit the Titanic cafe - we went there bacause of good reviews. About 10 mins walk. A few shops before the Titanic cafe is a vintage-looking cafe/pub which serves cheap English breakfast offering free-flow hot drinks for and extra £1 plus. This opens on the dot at 8 am whereas the Titanic opens earlier.

Room has not have intercom to call on reception or services, parking charges apply after 9am which wasn’t clear when booking room, kettle was not working,no glass given for water, light was broken.

Great stay

I had an amazing experience at Travelodge Ilford, and it’s all thanks to Tammy and Anne! From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Friendly, professional, and full of positive energy – they truly made the hotel feel like a home away from home. Tammy was incredibly helpful with check-in and made sure everything was smooth and stress-free. Anne’s warmth and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed – she clearly cares about every guest’s experience. You can tell they love what they do, and that kind of hospitality makes all the difference. Big thank you to both of them – Travelodge Ilford is lucky to have such stars on their team! Highly recommend staying here if you want great service with a genuine smile.

Clean, spacious, only problem was we couldn't use the shower as the cold tap wasn't working only the hot. Close to train station for central London. Good for price.

Excellent service. There was one instance someone knocked on my door, I got scared a little bit. It was a hotel staff. It was clarified to me and everything went fine. Other than that I pretty much enjoyed the stay, neat and peaceful place. Hoping to come back this year or next year.
