Rocky Cove Bed and Breakfast

Excellent communication before our 2 night stay, explaining check in procedures & various car parking options. Great welcoming from hosts, showing us to our lovely clean room with plenty of hanging space, comfy bed & large shower with soap & shampoo. Position is ideal for all that Ilfracombe has to offer. We had a lovely one night mid-week stay at Rocky Cove B&B. We were able to get parking right outside & it is perfectly located to explore Ilfracombe by foot. Our room was very comfortable & we will definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Thanks for all the tips on where to drink, eat and visit in North Devon - they were the perfect hosts.

We felt wonderfully cared for and looked after by the owners. I would not hesitate to book here again. The customer service before we came was first class and remained so throughout our stay. Jonah appeared as if by magic as soon as bags needed bringing up or down. The rooms were beautiful and so well equipped.

We arrived for an overnight stay just when they'd reopened after a winter break, but we wouldn't have known if Jonah the owner hadn't mentioned it in passing: it was all absolutely seamless. This is a lovely B&B. The location is brilliant, right by the coast, and easy to stroll along to the harbour or into town to explore/find a pub/find a restaurant. Parking was very easy (we got a space right outside, and there's a carpark literally opposite, over the road). Jonah cooked us a perfect breakfast (our room was so quiet that we overslept...). Very attractive feel to the whole place, excellent ensuite bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We arrived a bit later than we expected, even though we were only coming from south Devon but Jonah didn't bat an eyelid (you can't get to Ilfracombe in a hurry: don't believe any estimate from Google maps - whatever your satnav claims, it'll take longer than that!). Wish we could have stayed longer, and are hoping to go back.
