"Disappointing to find out on arrival the kitchen was closed and breakfast was a box of cereals. Room was dusty and I don't think the carpet had been hoovered before my stay. Toilet wasn't clean."

"Wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel and in a peaceful area. Breakfast was absolutely perfect. Was shocked to hear that the hotel is closing for renovation in July, as the place is spotless. Hope they don't lose the character of the place after the renovation. Will definitely like to revisit when you reopen in November."

"We have been to the Craven Heifer on numerous occasions and our last visit did not disappoint. A really nice atmosphere in the dining area, well presented drinks, very well cooked food (compliments to the chef) and excellent, friendly service from a delightful young girl. (Sadly didn’t get her name), We feel lucky to have an establishment of such high standard so close."
