Very friendly owner. Clean, quiet room with all the amenities we needed. Loved that it was a throwback motel to where you can park just a few feet away from your room.

Greeted warmly by the proprietor. The motel is a set piece for a quieter time. Rooms are small, but very well kempt. I'm a frequent traveler along 395, this place is going to be my go-to property when I'm traveling along the Owens Valley

Piccolo motel in una piccolissima cittadina americana. La proprietaria davvero gentile e accogliente. La camera con arredi di altri tempi ma visto il posto direi che è perfetto. Letto comodo. Come in tutti i motel e hotel che abbiamo girato condizionatore rumoroso da fastidio e poco isolamento acustico verso l’esterno.

I found this hotel for my husband for his hiking trip with his brother. When they got in, at midnight, they were greeted by half a dozen cockroaches in the room. Instead of trying to figure out this situation in the dead of night, they moved on to another hotel. Hotel called him when they realized he hadn’t checked in, and he relayed that they had left due to cockroaches, to which one of the owners responded, “That’s bullsh*t, we have the cleanest property in town.” As my husband was out hiking that weekend, I called the hotel to make sure we would get a refund. I was told by the owner that she had gone into the room and there were no cockroaches anywhere, insinuating that my husband was a liar. She then proceeded to tell me how he had mishandled the situation. I don’t take kindly to that. And too bad we have photos, with identifying carpet and wallpaper. And too bad if you have one room with half a dozen cockroaches, you definitely have more rooms with cockroaches.
