Kota Kinabalu Hotels with Infinity Pools

"It's very close to Tanjung Aru Beach and also conveniently located near Durian Street. However, it doesn't seem to have its own private beach. The double bed we booked was just right for our family of two adults and two children, and the bed itself was very spacious. We had booked breakfast for two, and upon seating, we were guided to a table and needed to sign for the number of diners. Our two children, aged 6 and 11, were not charged for breakfast! The Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk also didn't charge us a deposit! That was fantastic! However, avoid the Japanese restaurant next to the main dining area – it's a complete rip-off! We spent over 400 for what was essentially pre-cooked teppanyaki."

"⸻ I had a wonderful stay at Citadines Waterfront Kota Kinabalu. The location is excellent – right by the waterfront with easy access to Suria Sabah Mall, local eateries, and Jesselton Point for island hopping. The rooms are modern, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the amenities needed for both short and long stays. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. I especially appreciated the rooftop pool area, which offers a relaxing atmosphere and a nice view of the city and sea. Overall, this property is a perfect choice for both business and leisure travelers who want convenience, comfort, and great service in Kota Kinabalu. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying here again."

"Everything is good. The infinity pool is not big but not crowded. I saw a clean pool but the water quality is not particularly clean, so it's okay. Although it is far from the city center, there are many restaurants around. There is a small shopping mall downstairs, which is very convenient for shopping. There is a Kolo Mee near this hotel. Compared with others, I think it is quite OK"

"Apartment is located right next to Imago Mall with a lot of food and retail outlets and along the Riverson Walk. Apartment is super clean and beds have thick mattress and are super comfortable. Apartment balcony has a stunning sunset view overseeing the Sutera Golf course. The host was very responsive to my family's requests including providing baby cot in the middle of night. Wonderful experience and will come back again."

"It was a wonderful place to stay with a family of 5. The place is nice and and clean. Bed is comfortable. Host also helpful and they allow us to check in 4 hrs earlier from the normal check in time. This is the first apartment that offers such a good service. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. May your business blooming. 🎊"

"this is the best place i have ever been to... everything is great here, location close to the sea, high floor and view from the window, there is a large balcony, air conditioning, TV, hair dryer (there is even a diffuser), iron, the room is very spacious, large comfortable bed and the most comfortable pillows in my life!! I advise everyone to visit here if you are in kota kinabalu. there is also an amazing pool and ”observation deck” on the roof, from the window and from the roof you can watch how planes land. perhaps the only negative is the lack of grocery stores nearby, you have to walk for 10 minutes. I was also pleased with the communication with the owner, he quickly answered me when I could not figure out the stove and washing machine, etc."

"How to check in: When you enter the first floor, there are mailboxes-> Find the mailbox number you received a message for in advance, enter the PIN number, and turn it to open-> Take the key key and put it on the elevator card key, press the floor number, and check in I read a review that said there were bugs and the room condition was very bad, so I prepared myself mentally and visited, but I was so, so satisfied There were two king-sized beds in two rooms, and one bathroom was in the room and one was next to the front door The ocean view was pretty because it had a large window, and the construction site was visible, but it was okay ㅎㅎ The dining table was also large, and there was a washing machine and detergent provided👍🏻 There was only one dryer, but it was very windy + There was a full-length mirror and a large refrigerator The downside is that the bathroom drain smelled like water, so it smelled musty ㅜ A shower filter is a must!! The filter got black in one day ㅠㅠ We stayed for two days, and there were only four large towels for four people, so we used them after drying and washing them ㅠ ℹ️ No bugs and cleanliness Each room is spacious, and there is a large dining table in the living room, so it is good for couples to stay together And there was a convenience store on the first floor, which was the best🫶🏻✨ After checking out, I lost my ring, so I asked if I could go and look for it while cleaning, and they kindly said it was possible, and the host said they would call me and contact me when they found it🥹 I was touched,, There is a pier for the Sapi Island tour (5 minutes on foot), and famous local restaurants such as the Filipino Market nearby, so it is a perfect location for traveling🧡🧡"

"Nice hotel near the beach and airport. The room has great space and nice view to the sea and airport. Auto parking available and in a quiet location but convenient to go to beach and town. The hotel rooftop pool and deck has a nice to the sea. You can watch the landing and takeoff of the planes too. The sound from the plane is bearable but the sound insulation can be better especially from the walkway when people walking, chatting and banging door. The amenities and cleanliness can be improved. Used bathrobes was left in the cabinet and new bathrobe was not provided. The housekeeping staff clearly omitted on this."

"Not bad. I can check in early after discussing with the landlord. Since I am with my baby, I can rest early. It is very close to Jesselton Point, just a few minutes' walk away. There is a self-service laundry downstairs, a 24-hour convenience store, and a food store downstairs."
