Doonmore Hotel

A group of 25 of us stayed for two nights and everyone spoke so highly of the accommodation, the food, and the helpfulness of all the staff. Andrew & Donna arranged our collection to and from the ferry. Their prior communication and organisation made everything run so smoothly. We will certainly be back again and many of the group spoke of return visits with their own family. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Arrived in the middle of a storm but straight away on the pier received a warm welcome by Andrew the proprietor who bused us to the hotel in torrential rain! Much appreciated! The hotel has recently been revamped and the money has been really well spent on the bedrooms which are really comfortable and spotlessly clean, as is the rest of the hotel. The storm confined us to the hotel for the first 24 hours and we were very well looked after by the attentive and considerate staff throughout the hotel. In conversation with Andrew, he says that he spends a lot of time in the closed season selecting the right staff and this effort clearly pays off - couldn't speak highly enough about their efficiency and friendliness. There is a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel, the food was excellent and the bar jumped to trad music on both nights of our stay - there was a Traditional Music Festival on the island over the weekend. Thanks to Donna , Andrew and all the staff for a memorable stay - will definitely recommend and will definitely be back!!

Excellent hotel, great spot for nice relaxed few days. Lovely rooms, food very good and staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and friendly throughout our stay, well worth a trip!!

Just back from two wonderful nights in Doonmore Hotel. Have been coming to this Hotel since early 70’s and always loved my time there. Wonderful to see the tasteful refurbishment of the hotel in last two years - so warm and welcoming. Thank you to Aileen, Andrew, Donna and all the staff for your efficiency and kindness.

Room fab. Super view. Food excellent. Staff very welcoming. Lovely bar with great service and staff bright chatty and clearly loved working for Andrew and Murray family.

Another great return to Murray's Doonmore Hotel! Wonderful atmosphere and experience created by the amazing team led by Donna, Aileen and Andrew. The revamp reflects the nature and colours of the island and is a great success. Food wonderful, music as always amazing. We will be back soon!
