The Station Hotel

Our first break away for 2 years. Stayed here for 2 nights. Room very small but comfortable however there were NO staff in the ‘hotel’ apart from the first few hours of our stay. Breakfast was left for us consisting of yogurts, cereal, and few slices of bread wrapped in cling film, some croissants again just on a table wrapped in cling film. Kettle to make tea and coffee. We booked for bed and breakfast (no mention of what sort of breakfast) and certainly didn’t expect to have to serve ourselves! The breakfast room was freezing with no heating! We were charged over £100 a night for this experience!! Whilst the owners were away on their holidays which I’m sure had better facilities than we had!! I wouldn’t recommend staying here and we will certainly not be returning!!
