No coolers outside, food and drinks left outside overnight, or unlocked cars with food in them. NEIGHBORHOOD: We are located in a very small community far off the beaten path. There is plenty of privacy to be had, but we do have neighbors and adhere to a quiet hours policy. The drive to the house is about 20 minutes off of the highway, with windy breathtaking views of a mountain valley and local ranches. We are not close to grocery stores and recommend stopping in Conifer on the way in. Our limited restaurants can be seasonal and suggest calling ahead. A collection of unique, vintage knick-knacks from the 19th and 20th centuries: an original telephone built back in the 1900's, 1940's Jukebox, Christmas ornaments and cabin decorations from the late 20th century, and a set of eternal classics of literature including 'The Scarlet Letter', and 'Robinson Crusoe'. The blue range cabin holds a deep and family-friendly history back from 1875. There are amazing hiking and atv trails within a five minute car drive. Its located right near Mt. Evans Wilderness/Pike national forest. Unfortunately no fishing in the lakes nearby. There are exterior cameras for kids/wildlife. Feel free to turn them off. There are 2 lakes in the neighborhood to visit. Wonderful place for families and friends to be together. Amazing views.
