It has it's own private entrance and deck to enjoy that morning coffee plus a shared back deck to enjoy that afternoon glass of wine. You can enjoy the music from the East side of the home from The Cove Club and Sportsterz from the West side. Looking out from the front porch, you can see the strip and all it has to offer. There are 2 fire pits (1 in front & 1 in back) to enjoy on those breezy nights. Bring your corn hole & other outdoor games to enjoy in the large shared yard. This sweet little Cottage is the perfect spot for a couples getaway to the Lake, or a small gathering of friends. Terrific location, an easy walk to Breakwater Beach and the Strip, and a short drive to Spire and the wineries. Located directly across the street from Lake Erie.Welcome to Drop Anchor Cottages, Cottage #2. This 500 square foot Cottage was built in the 1940's and originally stood in the historic Chestnut Grove, one of the area's first cottage encampments. We believe that the Cottage was moved to the current location in the late 1960s when the Lodge was built.Cottage #2 will comfortably house and sleep four guests. The bedroom is a nice size, and has a Queen bed with a brand new memory foam mattress, a dresser and a closet. We provide all bed linens!This cottage has a large living area, with a loveseat and a Queen pull out sofa bed. The living area and kitchen/dining area are an open floor plan with room to comfortably move around. The kitchen has a refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, coffee pot and toaster. It is fully appointed with cookware, dishes and silverware, and should provide you with what you need during your stay. You will also find a coffee and tea set up for your enjoyment during your visit. The small dining table seats two with additional dining space outside.Cottage 2's bathroom has a walk in shower and is supplied with bath linens for four as well as emergency toiletries. Please note that there is a step up into the Cottage.You will access the Cottage with a keyless entry system, for flexible self check-in.This Cottage is wifi enabled and has a wall mounted flat screen TV for streaming. It has a drying rack for towels and swimsuits, and a basket of colorful beach towels for use during your stay. There is a small wall mounted heater for chilly nights, and a window AC and two portable fans for those Lake Erie summers. Situated on a large open courtyard, which has four Cottages in total. You will have full use of this courtyard, as well as your own outdoor seating, charcoal grill, and a picnic table with an umbrella. The courtyard has a fire-pit for our guests to enjoy and we provide the firewood!If you are planning on visiting the Lake with a larger group and would like to book more than one Cottage, please be in touch! We have 4 Cottages and a larger Lake House on the the property, and can accommodate up to 31 guests, availability permitting.Our property is located directly across the street from the Lake. This Cottage has a courtyard view, parking for a maximum of ONE CAR is directly behind the cottage, on grass. E. is located close to the Geneva on the Lake strip, the Spire Institute, wineries, and covered bridges, this lakefront property is the perfect place to watch and hear the waves rolling in, fish off the private beach or pier, or just hunt for some beach glass.Condo is located on the third level of a five-story, two-elevator serviced building. Two elevators mean no steps up or down. The common area of this condo features a heated indoor pool and a work-out area overlooking Lake Erie with a private beach and fishing pier. With just a five-minute drive down the road you can enjoy the fun of The Strip. Spire Institute is a 15 minute drive from the condo. Over 25 fabulous wineries are all easily reached with a short drive.You’ll sleep well in the master bedroom with a king-sized bed on a memory foam mattress, large closet, spa-like bathroom with a glass walk-in shower and rainfall shower head .Master bedroom has cable tv. #305 sleeps six guests with the addition of a queen size sleeper sofa.A great night’s sleep also awaits in the second bedroom with its queen-sized bed, cable television and large closet. To maintain this property and for the intended safety of all those who live at and rent units at the Lake Erie Vista Condominium Association, the Association has adopted the following rules to which you must consent and by which you must abide. By placing your initials in the space provided next to each rule and by placing your signature(s) at the end of this document, you attest that you, those in your rental party, those in your or your rental party’s care, custody and/or supervision (including but not limited to minors for whom you or those in your rental party have responsibility as parent or legal guardian) are not only informed of these rules, but will also comply with them in their entirety. Before swimming in the lake, be aware of rip currents, undertows and any warnings about dangerous levels of bacteria that may be issued.5. No running is allowed in the building, around the pool, patio or premises.6. Renter(s) risk eviction and forfeiture of all monies deposited if they allow any persons on the premises of Lake Erie Vista other than those occupants listed in your rental agreement.7. Quiet hours are designated from 10 pm- 8 am within and outside of the building. Please have respect for others concerning voices, television, music and general noise during these hours.8. The pool is open to renters from 8am- 8pm.9. The cost of any damage done to the property and/or furnishings in both the rental unit and public areas of the building by renter(s) will be deducted from the security/damage deposit. If additional damage beyond the deposit is found, you will be responsible for paying additional damages. You are required to use the facilities, equipment, furnishings and appliances for their intended normal use.10. Smoking within the building or a rental unit by Renter(s) is prohibited and will result in a forfeiture of renter(s) damage deposit. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner. Spire Institute is a mere 15 minute drive . Over 25 wineries within a 30 minute ride. The historic Ashtabula Harbor and Bridge Street just 15 minutes to the east with some of the best restaurants like Briquettes SmokeHouse, Rennicks Meat Market, Hil Maks Seafood. Stop in for a coffee at Harbor Perk and visit Marianne's Chocolate Shop all on Bridge Street and hopefully catch a glimpse of the Bascule Lift Bridge raising for the boats leaving the Marina. If it's Italian you crave Allesandro's and Purola Brothers are located 5 miles to the east of the Vista on Lake Rd.We try to make this visit as easy for you as possible providing linens, towels, soaps, paper products, everything you need in the kitchen plus a Keurig and Mr. Coffee. Our luxury resort condo is a DIRECT BEACH WALKOUT to beautiful Lake Erie. Sip your morning coffee or a glass of wine (purchased from a local winery) while relaxing on our covered patio directly on the lake. Master bedroom has king sized bed along with wood bunk beds with a full-size bed on the bottom, twin on top. Second bedroom includes a queen size pillow top bed. Spa amenities include large walk-in shower with 6 separate shower heads, relaxing rainfall shower head, and tiled bench to sit and enjoy being immersed in your luxurious shower. Second bathroom includes a full shower and an extra deep jetted-air tub. Geneva-On-The-Lake is a summer destination for many. This small town became Ohio's first summer resort! A true slice of Americana where John D. Rockefeller, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford would come to camp, fish and have fun! Whether you are planning a family vacation, a couple's retreat, or a "girls" get-away, this remains a great place to unwind and have fun! SO MUCH to do: Nearby Wineries. Fantastic local restaurants. Golf. Arcades. Fishing. Geneva State Park (marina w/ fishing charters or dock rental for your own boat, bike rentals, hike/bike paths, zip-line)WE DO NOT ALLOW ANIMALS, even if they are small and well behaved. Please note that there will be neighboring construction during the season. While these changes are taking place, we aim to provide a comfortable and enjoyable stay for you.The home offers 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and a cozy lounge room on the 3rd floor for added relaxation. On the first floor, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen and a spacious living room with a picture window, gas fireplace, 50-inch TV, and a pullout couch for extra sleeping space.
