"It was fantastic to stay in a newly opened Air B&B suite where we enjoyed a high-level privacy and a very tranquil neighborhood. The owners were very kind and always tried their best to facilitate our stay. If this suite appeared earlier in the list, I'd definitely booked all my stay in this place. The location has an easy access to King Edward Ave by using a staircase at Puget Dr & W 24 street. All-in-one with kitchen, laundry and parking just made it so family friendly and homy. "It would have been really important to mention that they have cats. You know. To someone like me who is very allergic to cats. I have emergency medication for this kind of BS. I was there one night but I would have rebooked if was not way too late. 1 night of sleepless wheezing misery. Without the allergy thing, the rooms were hot and airless. People were leaving the doors open and using fans to blow around the cat dander, I mean air. It's not safe to leave doors open, but that's the guests. The ladder for the top bunk (bunkbed) had one side not covered. It's sharp metal and easy to cut yourself on. These issues are not hard to fix, hopefully they can improve, since that location is perfect for walking to and from concerts. Hey if you love cats, still be careful, this neighbourhood can be dangerous."

"I called the hotel before my flight to ask about the shuttle bus service, and the girl who answered was like a robot in her answers and didn't seem interested in giving me very detailed or friendly answers. I was a little worried about finding the bus and asked if there was anything I needed to know about how to find the bus, and instead of explaining that the bus would have the name of the hotel on it (which was the case in the end, but isn't always the case in my experience- and I have travelled a lot) she just very robotically said to go to the charter pick up area. The shuttle bus was the main reason I booked this hotel, and I was a little bit choked by this interaction. The room was okay, it was clean, but confusingly unlit. The only light connected to a switch in the room was by the door, the rest of the room was lit only by 4 lamps (one of which didn't work) and it was incredibly dark in the room, even in the morning hours after the sun rose. The comforter on the bed was just a piece of batting sandwhiched in between two white flat sheets rather than a duvet cover. It would have been a nice service to have brought me a toothbrush to my room when I called down to the front desk and requested one, instead they made me come to the front desk in my pajamas for one. The hallways stunk of **** covered up by perfume. The guy who checked me in was nice and friendly, even though he had a lineup of people waiting to check in late at night and that must have been a little stressful for him. Overall, I felt the customer service at this hotel could be improved. Even if $120/night is not wildly expensive for Vancouver, it's still a lot of money, and the customer service doesn't need to suffer as a result."

"Today was my second booking with the hotel and im very satisfied with almost everything. The location is very convenient as there is a bus stop in front of the hotel. Even the sky train is just a few minutes walk. That aside, the hotel is very clean and neat. Few kitchen stuff is also provided. Staff is also friendly and approachable."
