We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. The moment we stepped inside the apartment, we just felt like going back home. It’s spacious, bright and airy with a little kitchen and a big and beautiful balcony with a fantastic view. The owner/staff is so friendly and helpful. All of our requests will be handled swiftly. The apartment will be cleaned and restocked with all the necessities everyday. We booked for two nights but extended 5 more nights. That tells you how we like the apartment so much. I highly recommend this place to my friends and family.

The overall feeling is very good. There was a driver to pick us up at the station. We arrived a little early. After checking in, the front desk kept helping to check the progress of the room cleaning and arranged to enter the room immediately after the cleaning was completed. I felt comfortable, cared for and comforted.
The grounds are clean, with a pool and plenty of chairs to sit and relax. Sitting there, it's comfortable even if you just daydream.
The room is very spacious and has two beds, which is just right for me and my child to sleep separately. When they woke up the next day, the children said they had slept very comfortably.
They will also ask you if you want afternoon tea delivered to your room, which is really thoughtful. After dinner, I sat in the courtyard and chatted with my children, and the front desk asked if I wanted hot milk or tea. The children asked for hot milk, and I was really happy at that moment.
The breakfast auntie is also very kind and will specially bring you a hot breakfast. intimate.
Special thanks to all the staff at the front desk, including Xiao Chen and Xiao Song. Their enthusiasm really didn't make anyone feel awkward or unacceptable, and it was very comfortable. Will recommend to friends who want to go.

Facilities: I looked at many places for comparison and finally came here after seeing someone recommend it. The price is really suitable! The big swimming pool and chair swings are really comfortable on summer nights. There is also a smart toilet in the room. My mother praised it highly!
Hygiene: Every day someone cleans the place. It's very clean. They also sorted out our clothes. There were nights when they disinfected the swimming pool until midnight (the swimming pool was super clean, no leaves or dust were seen)
Service: This is even better. They offered to take us to the high-speed rail station. The driver was the boss lady, a very friendly lady. On the way, the boss lady also told the story of their hotel. The boss lady's son is the manager of a star hotel
All in all, I am very satisfied. This time I have a different view of Beihai. I will definitely stay here next time I come! I have stayed in so many five-star hotels. We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Our room was very comfortable and immaculate. The hotel is convenient to the central area as well as to the train station. The breakfast is quite a spread. YYizhizhouxiaobeiLet me talk about the service first. The hotel service is very intimate. The front desk will contact you on WeChat one day in advance to ask if you need to pick up the station and send the port service. It also sent a Beihai food guide.
Just arrived at the entrance of the hotel, the little brother at the front desk ran out to help carry the suitcase. When there were not many people in the off-season, he helped upgrade the room type for free. Going out shopping in the afternoon, the little brother sent ice sleeves intimately.
This service is invincible for family members ～
In terms of environment, the hotel is located in a villa area, and there are homestays similar to villas nearby, but the decoration style and daily maintenance stand out. The swimming pool is cleaned every morning, and the plants are prosperous and orderly.
The room was upgraded to a starry sky top, the curtains were opened at night, and the moonlight was spilled over the top of the head. There was really a sense of relaxation that the starlight accompanied you to sleep.
Breakfast is delicious burdock powder or porridge, with side dishes and eggs, small and exquisite.
Finally, I have to mention the two cockroaches in the store, one key color puppet, the other is 2 and a half months old Jinjila, milk and sticky, holding on to my hand and starting to snort, who can stand it! Cat control must rush!

GGuest UserGet this hotel!!! We were supposed to stay for a night and then decide what to do - we ended up staying 3 nights and were very sad to leave.
Every so often when you travel your hotel experience significantly improved your holiday - this was one of those cases! First of all the basics, we were looking for a nice family friendly hotel walking distance from the beach - and this certainly fit that category. The rooms are fine, you could see the sea from the windows, comfortable beds, pretty clean, slippers, plenty of towels, wifi everywhere etc. There was also a small playground for small kids and hammocks (picture) etc which was cool, we also saw mahjong tables, but didn't have the time to play.
The hotel is located near a fairly large field, filled with exotic birds, butterflies and crickets etc. There were also geckos everywhere (love them), but we didn't see any inside the room. There were some mosquitos outside on the terrace (don't love them), but the repellent took care of those and we didn't have any in our rooms. Felt like you were near nature, in a good way.
The kids loved to play on the beach, it's great for sand castles (the hotel had buckets and shovels free of charge) and searching for crabs, fish, shells, sea snails etc... The moms loved it too, especially to walk around and explore during low tide. (the hotel also provided equipment to catch crabs and other sea creatures etc if you wanted to - they also had a service to cook them for you) We especially enjoyed playing under a nearby pier during low tide to avoid getting badly sunburned.
The supermarket across the street sell dozens of single malt whiskys and beer from all over the world (they also have ice cream and other stuff) - and the dads recommend the roof terrace for that after the kids are asleep. (picture)
If you know how to ride a scooter/ebike they rent them across the road too, and it's the best way to explore the island. The small roads (almost devoid of cars) were awesome to drive on, just remember to stay safe.
I don't usually care much about breakfast, but the included breakfast was great! (picture) The kitchen staff was also super laid-back about the whole thing - this whole hotel radiated a very laid back tropical island feel that made you forget you were in China.
However the reason I write this review is because of the owner. (last picture) (I'm not sure if he speaks English though, but I'm sure you'll manage) Super chill guy! Immediately after booking he contacted us to arrange the transport from the boat. He helped us buy tickets for the trip back. He was willing to come and pick us up at any time if we got lost on the island. He had great recommendations about basically everything, and whenever we made plans we were sure to ask for his advice. He was basically always reachable over wechat too.
These are just some of the things that he didn't have to provide, but did (or offered): unlimited cold drinking water, ice, proper glasses, a coffee grinder, buckets, shovels, hats, umbrellas, sunscreen, aloe vera plants, flashlights, mosquito repellent etc etc and it feels like we only scratched the surface. It feels like whenever I asked him for something he always had a solution that exceeded my expectations. Great host!
I've traveled to almost 100 countries and while this wasn't the fanciest hotel I've stayed in by any means, this was one of the most memorable hotel experiences I've ever had. If anyone I know plans to visit this island I will for sure recommend this place.

IIsland Girl AngeleneOh my goodness!!!!!! We had an amazing time here! We went to celebrate out 9th wedding anniversary and I'm glad we chose this place. Upon arrival to the island, our host sent a driver to collect us at the port, and take us to our destination (free of charge). When we got to the villa, I was pleased with the warm greeting we received and the overall surroundings. The place was clean, tranquil and welcoming. I was pleasantly surprised when we were gifted a cake and drinks from our host. However, I was totally blown away wjen I saw our room! The view was everything! When we stepped out onto our private balcony, we had the best view of the beach and surrounding areas. Additionally, I must say that it was a priceless experience to witness the sunrise and high tide from that angle.
The chef was unable to be there because of personal reasons, but our host made sure that we were well taken care of, regarding other dining options on the island and he even recommended a driver to take us to good food joints. The driver turned out to be our chaperone for the entirety of our stay.😂 Breakfast was great and we enjoyed the company of the resident dog (which looks fierce, but is actually very friendly).❤️
Thanks to the caring nature of our hosts, our trip to the island was excellent and my only regret it that we didn't book to stay longer! 😭 Now that I have had this experience, I look forward to coming back to Weizhou Island, and staying at this villa. It was well worth the price!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

GGuest UserThe first time I went to Weizhou Island, I went through a lot of trouble to book a hotel and chose the unique Heyue Yaju Inn. After checking in, I really admire my ability to predict. Not only is the room clean and tidy, but even the lobby is bright and comfortable. The landlady is even more warm and thoughtful. Originally we were older. Unfavorable legs and feet. I was scared when I saw the room on the second floor. Unexpectedly, the landlady had already thought of it for us. Unexpectedly, we were moved to the next floor without even saying anything. We are very happy. I forgot to bring hand cream and the lady boss brought her own for me to use, which really touched me. This inn is considerate and considerate for its guests. The room is clean and smell-free, and the price is right. We made the right choice to come here.

The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty.
The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done!
Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice!
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

AAnonymous UserWe are traveling as a couple this time, and we specially chose the Shangri-La Hotel, Beihai to stay in a sea view room from September 9th to 13th. The facilities are complete, the sanitary conditions are good, and the environment is very good. Put down your luggage, take a rest, and then walk from east to west on the sea plank road, take a walk to the sea, and feel very happy. The service level of the entire hotel is first-class. Whether it is management personnel or general employees, including doormen, they all greet you with smiles and whisper greetings when they come in and out. We went to the Chinese restaurant and the buffet restaurant for dinner twice, with rich dishes, excellent cooking, and thoughtful service. Especially the buffet breakfast, it is a visual and taste enjoyment. There was a girl with long braids who was very enthusiastic to see us and called us ”grandparents”, which made us feel very cordial. When we learned that our return flight was relatively early, we also prepared fruits and sandwiches for us to take to the airport to eat while waiting for the flight. Beihai Shangri-La Hotel is the sixth hotel we have stayed in over the years. We have to admit that the management level of Shangri-La Hotel Management Group is consistent and always online.

I stayed in Sheraton on April 2nd, a homestay in Weizhou Island on April 3rd, and Marriott on April 4th. I stayed in all three hotels today, so I have a lot to say. In general, Sheraton exceeded expectations and was very good. It is the best of the three hotels. Marriott is the newest but the service can't keep up. Needless to say, the homestay is the best in terms of service and room comfort! There is a brother and several sisters at the front desk who are very good. Especially when we need to change rooms and other special requirements. They are very patient to help me coordinate. The service in the restaurant is also very good. There is no charge for children over 120, and they are very patient to take us in and choose seats for us. It is really a very good choice to see Sheraton! The children got up at six o'clock the next morning to go to the sea, and they can pick up snails and catch crabs. Very good!!

SSanchezIsle Beach Home was a pleasant surprise. The view and closeness to the ocean is the best part of the stay. The rooms are very comfortable and the beds are of western hotel standards. The staff is attentive and friendly. They provide information about the island and also scooters for easy transportation. There is a restaurant on site with delicious food. It's also close to local seafood markets on the island. Another great part about the hotel is the infinity pool and deck. But there are a few things that detract from the overall greatness of the experience. The pool deck, although beautifully overlooking the ocean, is not set up for relaxing. The deck chairs are old and without cushions and there are no pool umbrellas to protect from the summer sun. And secondly, (this is not their fault or responsibility) the surrounding environment is the opposite of what the hotel promotes. The buildings and structures surrounding the hotel are unsafe and hazardous looking. But even with that, I would definitely stay her again.
