Free logs.Situated at Foxhill Farm set apart from our other holiday cottages is our one bedroom absolutely charming luxury Shepherd's Hut. Built on the frame of an old vintage cart we have incorporated some of the old oak beams for some added character. A hand built fitted oak kitchen supplies ample cupboard space, a full size gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine & toaster.A built in table with leather stools and leather armchairs provide comfortable seating plus a tv with dvd and a cosy wood burning stove completes the look.The separate bedroom provides a hand built centralised double bed plus bedside units and hanging wardrobe space is provided, plus a further tv with dvd, along with an en suite bathroom with full size shower, heated towel rail, toilet, sink unit and shaving light.An enclosed patio area with chiminea and bbq makes a delightful setting for outdoor relaxing plus outside your patio area there are large grass areas for walking (dogs on lead).From the Shepherd’s Retreat you can cycle or walk a short distance into the forestry tracks. We have plenty of storage for your bikes. If you wish to bring your boat to take to the coast then we can store this securely for you. At the bottom of the road we have the local shop/post office and village pub.Situated on the edge of the New Forest, located on the boundary of Dorset and Hampshire, close to the River Avon. Ideally situated to explore Ringwood Forest, on our doorstep, and a short drive can take you to the New Forest National Park famous for its free roaming ponies, donkeys, cattle and pigs in the autumn,, New Forest Water Park, Moors Valley Country Park, the local quaint town of Fordingbridge, delightful Wimborne Minster or the local market town of Ringwood. All offering excellent pubs/restaurants and coffee houses. Bournemouth coast’s spectacular beaches are an easy 25 minute drive, the Jurassic coast within easy reach and the ancient city of Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral is well worth a visit.This is a perfect romantic hideaway, an ideal bolt hole for couples and under 2 hours from London, easily accessible and ideal for a country break. I aim to ensure that all my guests have a truly memorable stay.The spaceAt Orchard Barn guests will find a truly beautiful barn conversion, set within stunning rural grounds. A Spa Barn was created for guests at the end of 2022 and includes a large, luxurious hot tub and sauna. The Barn is fitted with large patio doors, so guests can enjoy fresh air in the spa or keep the doors closed for an even more romantic experience. A professional sports masseuse can be arranged to further enhance your stay. The Spa Barn is adjacent to Orchard Barn and Crocs and bath robes are provided. An outdoor table tennis table can also be set up for you with bats and balls available.The Spa Barn also includes a utility room with space to store bikes, paddle boards, fishing gear etc and provides a washing machine and separate tumble drier.In Orchard Barn most amenities are available, including: oven, ceramic hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge/freezer, and a fully equipped kitchen. SHEPHERD’S HUT (DELUXE).A beautiful artisan built luxury large shepherd’s hut, with the ambience of modern living in a quiet country retreat.Situated at Foxhill Farm set apart from our other two holiday cottages is our one bedroom absolutely charming Shepherd’s Hut. With a hand built fitted oak kitchen supplying full size gas cooker, microwave, retro fridge with freezer, compact coffee machine and toaster, the living area also provides a dining table, two pretty carver chairs and a quirky addition of three vintage cinema seats giving a unique interesting touch. A television with built in dvd is also supplied. Rustic industrial lighting provides a cosy feel and the accommodation which is centrally heated comes fully equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A full size shower room is provided fitted with toilet/shower/wash basin cabinet/heated towel rail and the separate pretty bedroom houses a handmade double bed, a hanging wardrobe space, bedside tables with retro lamps, usb connections and a television with built in dvd. A lovely country outlook is enjoyed from the Hut and as we are in an area of no light pollution you can also indulge yourselves in star gazing through the roof skylight. All quality linen and towels are provided and a washing machine and tumble dryer are available.A stable door leads from the oak veranda which is up 4 small steps from a private patio with table & chairs and chimenea with FREE logs provided.The patio area is enclosed with a rustic fence which is ideal for dogs (£10.00 per stay) which are allowed under our standard policy of ‘providing they do not go into the bedroom or on the furniture they are very welcome’. From the Shepherd’s Hut you can cycle or walk a short distance into the forestry tracks. We have plenty of storage for your bikes. If you wish to bring your boat to take to the coast then we can store this securely for you. An ideal romantic retreat in the countryside with easy access to forest walks, beautiful beaches and quaint local towns and villages. Please enquire for prices for 5 or 6 nights as we are unable to show discounts on this website.From the entrance porch, which has a log and boot store, a door takes you to the hallway with one step taking you up to a wooden floored open plan kitchen/diner/living room with full sized cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, ample kitchen units, television dvd and log burner.Also leading from the hallway is a door leading to a generous sized light bedroom with a lovely hand painted kingsize bed and ensuite shower room plus a walk in wardrobe. We can also add a cot if required or a small futon to sleep a child. Also provided is a television/dvd, ipod dock, wifi and quality linen and towels. Also washing machine available.
