Welcome to Johnson Street Cottage - a charming updated home only one block from Main Street, in the heart of downtown Brevard!  A short walk to all the shopping, dining, and excitement Brevard has to offer, Johnson Street Cottage is ideally located.  This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home accommodates 4 guests in the bedrooms or 6 guests including the sleeper sofa.  The driveway has parking spaces for 1-2 cars. The main entrance at the front of the home welcomes you into an open and cozy living and dining room, with comfortable seating, a smart television with access to YouTube TV for live streaming, and a dining table with seating for 6.  The kitchen is off the dining area and is equipped with an electric stove, traditional coffee maker, and the dishes, pots, and pans guests will need to create meals for their group.  A full sized washer and dryer are located off the kitchen. Both bedrooms and the bathroom are located just off the living area.   Bedroom 1 is home to a king-sized bed and a Smart TV with YouTubeTV access.  The bathroom comes with a single sink and stand-up tile shower with glass enclosure.   Bedroom 2 is complete with a king-sized bed and another SmartTV with YouTubeTV access. Built in 1911, this historic gem has been lovingly restored, modernized, and decorated to be perfect for your family vacation.  Upon arrival at the Witek Rinker House, guests are greeted by a flat driveway, covered parking for one car and additional parking in the driveway for 2 additional cars. The spacious front porch at the Witek Rinker House is ideally curated with a swing, rocking chairs, and string lights; perfect for relaxing in the shade and enjoying the view of the action on Main Street.  As you enter the home, you will be greeted by a spacious living area with ample seating, a game cabinet, a television, and gas fireplace.  The dining room is located just off the living room and is complete with a dining table for 6 guests.  The large custom kitchen is just off the dining room and has been thoughtfuly curated with a gas stove, stainless. steel appliances, a Keurig, dishes, and the pots and pans needed to prepare meals during your stay. Groups in the area to visit Brevard College will love the most unique space in the Witek Rinker House. The room off the kitchen is dedicated to the history of Brevard College Track and Field.  Coaches Norman Witek and David Rinker, who the home is named for, led cross country and track athletes at Brevard College for over 50 years.  Some of these athletes went on to compete at the most prestigious events, including the world championships and the Olympics.  The memorabilia room is an informative, unique, and fun way to honor the legacy of these coaches and the athletes of Brevard College. As you travel up the stairs to the second floor of the Witek Rinker House, you will be greeted by all 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms.  The primary bedroom is home to a queen-sized bed and a unique ensuite bathroom with a stand-up shower.  The second and third bedrooms each have one queen-sized bed.  The fourth bedroom is complete with one set of bunk beds with full-sized mattresses on the top and the bottom.  A second full bathroom with walk-in shower services the 3 guest bedrooms and is also located upstairs on the second floor. When you and your group are ready to unwind, the backyard at the Witek Rinker House is an ideal place to do just that.  The large fullly fenced in yard allows for privacy.  A propane grill and dining table for 8 create the perfect space for al fresco dining.  After dinner, guests can soak in the private hot tub before settling in for the night. This newly built house is nestled on a large fenced-in lot and offers guests the best in comfort, amenities, and indoor/outdoor living areas. Ideally situated between downtown Brevard and the entrance to Pisgah Forest, the Chalet is on the ever-growing Rails and Trails bike bath that can take you anywhere.You will enjoy many unique features at this beautiful mountain home, such as a sweeping rock staircase just past the entry gate surrounded by a large native plant garden and a big elevated back deck designed for lounging, grilling, and entertaining friends and has a private hot tub! (Please note If you wish to use the hot tub there is a $25 maintenance fee per reservation. Just contact Gareth if you wish to use the tub)Inside, the large living room has comfortable leather furniture and a 65-inch TV with surround sound. The fully stocked kitchen has everything you need, and an oversized butcher block island with stools creates an excellent center gathering place. There is a full dining table that seats 6. The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, and the 2 bedrooms upstairs have king beds. All are furnished and have full closets. 2 Luxurious bathrooms, one with a large tile and glass door shower and the other with a tub and shower combination.This PET-FRIENDLY home is a DOG HEAVEN! The whole lot is fenced, so you can bring your furry friends, who will have plenty of outside room to explore. We even have a spare dog bed and bowls just in case you don't bring your own! Please let us know if you will be bringing pets as there will be a pet fee of $25/night for up to 2 pets and $15/night for each additional after. Lovely older home 4 blocks from town recently renovated. Three bedrooms, master with private bath and sliding glass doors to a large deck and hot tub for 8 people.Bedroom #2 has a 3/4 full size bed and a twin, bedroom #3 has a pair of twin beds.All bedding is new Jameson Marriott five star mattresses. The two guest bedrooms share a beautiful tile bath. The den has a full size fold out sofa bed for overflow, or kids that want to stay up late and watch a movie on Netflix or from our video library. The house is close to the Music Center and only 4 short blocks from the center of town so you can walk to great restaurants, shops and breweries.
