“Our little house on the corner” was built in 1954. We totally remodeled it this spring for short term renting. The upstairs is now a master suite and two bedrooms are on the first floor. You will not be disappointed with the style and decor. Everything is new but the hardwood refinished floors. If you are traveling through Gallia County for a wedding, reunion, party or just vacationing you will enjoy our home. No other persons will share the home with you. Bob Evans Farm Restaurant, Merry Family Winery, GreenValley Gathering Place are all just minutes away. Downtown Gallipolis is just a quick drive too. The daily rate is for two adults and each additional adult is 25.00 per night. There is no charge for children under 16. There is a small one time cleaning fee of 35.00 for the downstairs and an additional 20.00 if upstairs is used also. This too is a one time charge. This small two story home was built in 1900. Updates through the years have not lost the charm. This two bedroom and two full bath home has plenty of room for a traveling family or professionals for business. Decorated in all new retro style interior, it takes you to a time of peace and tranquil. The time period is 1955-early 60’s. Teals, reds, yellows and other rich colors throughout brighten your day. There are a few choice pieces from our past that we just had to place in the home. Next door are two other of our places. You can walk to the downtown area for views of the river or ratios that are locally owned mom and pop. Sit on the front porch or relax on the back deck. Everything is included for your stay but your food and clothes. Visit this site for all 8 of our places. Built in 1835 this home is a real charm. Imagine having your morning coffee, or evening beverage, while watching the various boats pass by. Gather in the great room for games or TV. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking that big meal or lite snack. You won’t go wrong with this home during your visit to Gallipolis. Bright, cheerful and inviting is La Belle River House. It is suggested if you have children to use extreme caution, due to proximity to the river and road. The home also has steps. No parties are permitted, nor smoking or vaping. Free wi-fi available.The spaceThis cozy, rustic, cedar-walled single-room cabin directly overlooks the Ohio River. The bathroom has a shower, sink, and toilet. Outside there is direct access to the beach & water, as well as a large open grassy & landscaped space overlooking the river, with a fire pit, swing set, and flagstone areas with covered tables. The property also borders a deep creek, with lots of trees. The cabins & yard are mostly separated from the road by the restaurant (no longer open to the public with the exception of serving the B&B cabins). Two parking spaces available per cabin (please reach out ahead of time should you want more spaces). Locally-sourced coffee provided in the cabin. The room is heated/cooled primarily with a mini split unit.Guest accessGuests can access the river, beach, and large yard at their leisure. There is also a landing spot for boats about four miles south (KH Butler) and a cute little town about a 10-minute drive north. Free onsite parking lot is available. We live in a very rural area, so there are a variety of dwellings and lots of patches of woods around.Other things to noteWe offer a contact-free, COVID-friendly checkin. Very kid friendly. Very pet friendly. Smoking & vaping permitted on cabin deck and outside public areas, but not in cabins please. We ask that breakfast orders be placed by 9pm the night before.
