Built by a talented local carpenter, this breathtaking, beautiful Alaskan home is an excellent retreat after a long day of adventuring in Alaska's Interior.Our two bedroom, one bathroom residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance of its own. It comfortably sleeps four with a queen bed and two twin beds, full bath, living room with a mini-fridge, microwave and other small kitchen appliances to make your stay more enjoyable. The home's original owner and master craftsman took precise care in the building of the entire home - including crafting all of the home's ceilings, support beams and intricacies. Located in Healy, there are a variety of restaurants, a local brewery, a small convenience store, a quaint local coffee shop, an Alaskan lake and many local trails. For more entertainment, restaurants and activities, simply drive 11 miles to just outside the entrance to Denali National Park. A simple remote Alaska rustic one room dry (no plumbing ) secluded 16X16 cabin with a sleeping loft at mile post 254.4 Parks HWY. Just 5 miles north of the Town Healy and 15 miles from Denali Park. A get away for two surrounded by foothills and Alaska Mountain Range. Up on a ridge over looking the landscape. Perfect opportunity to watch for Alaska wildlife. A 15 minute hike to the lake for a viewing of Denali Mountain. Four wheel drive required for driving to cabin or parking below with a 15 minutes hike up the steep grated ridge road to cabin. A ride to the cabin for checking in and out is available from the lower parking area.Cabin provides a small refrigerator/ freezer, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, table for two, upstairs sleeping loft beds (two twin/single beds with sheets, blanket and pillow.Cabin heated with Toyo oil stove, electric outlets, A wash and gray water sink with 5 gals.water jug over the sink. The Taiga House is located in the forest just north of Denali National Park. Once a spacious B&B known as "The Grand View" it has been remade into a family home with two vacation rentals. Our three bedroom, second floor residence is attached, yet private, with an entrance and yard of it's own, amazing views of the local mountains scenery and abundant charm. Our studio apartment is located on the ground floor, under our 3 bedroom rental. With a entrance of it's own.
