Beautiful Lake Hamilton is steps from our back door. This is our third property on VRBO and all have excellent reviews! This property is less than a mile from Walmart, and less than a half a mile from a Hill Wheatley beach and public boat launch. Location is EVERYTHING! Newly updated home! This 1600 square foot home is on Lake Hamilton and is beautiful! Nestled in a quiet cove, you will not be disappointed with all that this house has to offer. Makes a great location for family gatherings, girls' weekend, or just some downtime with your family. This house will not disappoint your expectations. You can see the lake from the living room. Drink coffee sitting on back deck overlooking the water. This property, it has a covered boat dock. There is a large back area for entertaining, fire pit for those cool nights. Large Washer and Dryer (located in carport closet) Nicely furnished and stocked with linens, towels, dishes, etc. The home is located on the western part of the lake near Highway 70 and only a short boat ride to many of the restaurant's on the lake. The house is less than 1/2 mile from the Hill Wheatley Boat Launch, and there are not many public boat launches on this lake. Wal-Mart, gas station, and restaurants are less than a mile away.Our house has been remodeled in 2024. Great open living room with 70 inch TV for the big game, huge kitchen, bar with bar stools that is warm and inviting. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking and has a great coffee bar. We have a large wooden table in our dining space that seats 8 people.Two bedrooms contain very comfortable king size beds, including Smart TV's. One bedroom is known as our "bunk room" it contains one bunkbed (twin over full), and one twin size day bed, this room also contains a TV. We have two full bathrooms (shower in one, and a shower/tub combo in the other). We have an amazing indoor wood burning fireplace, and an outdoor firepit that makes nights cozy. We have a ladder to get in and out of the lake. We also have four lay-out chairs that provide a comfortable place to get some sun on the dock. We do provide several lake towels as well. This property also has a charcoal grill, Charbroil gas grill, and a Z-Grill pellet smoker grill as well. Come prepared to stay in and eat as this location has everything and more that you will need to make a gourmet meal. However, if you want to relax and not cook on your vacation, there are ample restaurants in close driving distance. This house is located in a kid friendly, family neighborhood. Bring the mountain bikes or fishing equipment also provided. We have four kayaks and a paddleboard that are provided, and have four life jackets. Enjoy boating, fishing, water sports, hiking or just the view. Magic Springs is in close driving distance and includes both a water park and theme park. If you are interested in watching the horses race, Oaklawn Racetrack Casino has live horse racing from December to April and has a casino and simulcast racing year round. Nearby Ouachita Mountains has excellent mountain biking and hiking. Garvan Gardens has been named as one of the best woodland gardens around. The moment you drive up, the lake view will be waiting! You can enjoy the water even as you unpack! When you walk in, be prepared... the view will take your breath away! It's all windows and ALL LAKE VIEW from almost every room in the house! So, no matter what the Arkansas weather brings or how your mood shifts, you will get to enjoy the water! The home is situated on almost an acre of beautifully landscaped property! It's perfectly positioned for privacy and easy living. Spend your days and nights with your family and friends on one of 2 outdoor patios (upstairs and down), both with FULL gorgeous views of the lake. We wanted light and airy aesthetics, comfy furniture, great beds (memory foam mattresses), quality linens, a stocked kitchen and place that felt like home when we walked in. We hope you feel like we’ve accomplished just that during your stay! We currently have 2 boat slips with lifts available in our boat dock. There is a swimming ladder off the back end of the dock and it's perfect for swimming to cool off! And the yard has endless opportunities for running around and laying out! Polly's Place is only yards away (across the street) from the lake. Beautiful views can be had by walking and driving throughout the neighborhood. There are partial views from the house, but public access is best had at the various public parks. The neighborhood is very quiet and well maintained with million dollar homes within a minute's walk. All three bedrooms are large and have sitting areas with chairs, closets, and plenty of space for your luggage. The living room has high ceilings and a beautiful gas fireplace. The master bedroom is huge and the master bath has a Jacuzzi tub. The rooms are styled and furnished with a mid-century aesthetic. While we welcome everyone at Polly's Place, this is not the place for wild parties or unruly behavior. We are strict about our rules, guidelines, and occupancy rates as we have found this makes for a better experience for all involved. We do think Polly's Place is the perfect getaway for wedding stays, ladies getaways, anniversaries, and most definitely families. We do not, however host bachelor/bachelorette parties, graduation parties, etc... There are three bedrooms for 6 people, but the living room is large enough to accommodate two additional guests (but please bring their own sleeping gear as we do not yet have a futon or sofa sleeper for the living room quite yet). Please note that the two secondary bedrooms have full sized beds which are slightly smaller than a queen. The three beds offer a variety of sleeper preference: one is soft, one is firm, and one has a memory-foam topper.There is a fence surrounding the backyard, but it is old and unless dog's are supervised, they can escape as it is not completely secure. Copper Porch Cottage is right on the water on beautiful Lake Hamilton, only 10-15 minutes from Oaklawn and Hot Springs downtown. Groceries from Kroger and Walmart and restaurants like Bubba Brew's and Mug Shots Coffee are all about 5 minutes away on easy main roads. Birdwatch from the screened porch, kayak and swim the large inlet, and roast smores around the fire pit at this private location. The interior, parking, and storage were developed with eight people in mind, but it’s cozy enough for a couple. As an added health and safety precaution no guests arrive on the same day that another departs.Copper Porch Cottage gets its name from the screened porch where you can talk for hours protected from mosquitos! The screening is copper, which is the best material for viewing, but please try not to touch it or lean things against it as it's a bit more fragile than other screening. There’s a table for four for dining al fresco and a cushioned sofa and chair. A grill with propane provided is located down the stairs off the screened porch. Outdoor living continues at the lake with a fire pit with masonry seating area. We provide firewood, so bring on the smores! The 16’ x 12’ dock with boat mooring gives you a front-row seat to enjoy the evening, swim, or go fishing. Its deepest water is about 4-5 feet, so we recommend entering and exiting the water at the boat ramp, the ladder on the dock, or jumping feet first. Utilize the private boat ramp right outside the back door by bringing your personal watercraft or SUP. The ramp is best for small boats; there is a public boat ramp 5 minutes away for larger boats. There’s parking for your truck and trailer as well. [PLEASE NOTE: from early-mid November through mid-March Lake Hamilton is lowered several feet for dock maintenance. There is still plenty of water to boat and fish, but the boat mooring on the swim dock is not available. The 1900 square foot cottage has two king bedrooms and a four-bed XL bunk room, all with blackout curtains and locally made amazing mattresses so you can get some sleep. There’s an on-demand water heater, so there’s a constant supply of hot water for 8 guests to take a hot shower one after the other. The main level king bedroom is an en suite with a tub shower, double sinks and a 32” smart TV with cable. The bunk room beds are extra-large twins with mattress toppers, which comfortably accommodate adults. Host a girl’s weekend because the bunks have nice stairs, not a ladder, to the top bunks. The TV in the bunk room is for streamed content, no cable. The hall bathroom next to the bunk room has a walk-in shower with glass door and plenty of towel rods and hooks. Down the stairs at lake level is a very private king bedroom with club chairs, a 52” smart TV with cable, a full bathroom, and a covered porch. We recommend that children do not sleep downstairs as there is a door leading outside to the porch that is 40 feet from the lake. This is a split-level home with most of the rooms on the main level and only this private suite downstairs.The dog fee is $100 per stay with a maximum of 2 dogs. The yard is not fenced. No cats or other pets are allowed. The sidewalk is too steep for a wheelchair without a VERY strong helper in our opinion. You can also reach the grill, lake and fire pit via a set of stairs from the screened porch.
