Centrally located on the upper chain offering access to a number of restaurants and marina services. Explore the different lakes all connected by the Eagle River. This home boasts magnificent lake views along with sunsets that you will never forget! Our home offers all of the amenities and comfort that you desire in your Northwoods home. We welcome you to Cranberry Cottage! A clean, cozy cottage with a queen bed, a twin bed, full bathroom, stocked kitchen, and living room. Cranberry Cottage has close proximity to the snowmobile trail and to local businesses and activities. During the summer, we offer a window a/c unit, dock slip, kayaks, row boat, firewood for a bonfire, charcoal grill, and outdoor seating. The boat launch is nearby for exploring the Chain of Lakes. Pine Cabin has all the features for a Northwoods getaway! Our cabin offers a king size bed along with a twin bed and sofa sleeper. Bathroom has stand up shower, toilet, sink and towels provided. There's a shared sandy beach area for swimming or relaxing. You will be within walking distance to great restaurants and attractions, as well as a few minutes' drive to downtown. It has direct access to the snowmobile, ATV/UTV routes, and offers a private pier slip for your boat or rental. If you love hiking/biking, Eagle River has many trails for you to enjoy. The cabin offers parking for two as well as space for a trailer. If you need to rent a boat, snowmobile or UTV, we can refer options to you. We supply 4 kayaks for free use, Wi-fi, Roku TV to connect with your favorite streaming channels and games for those rainy days. Discover this magical 5-bedroom, 3-bath gem on a private lake outside Eagle River. It's on a 3-acre peninsula, and the cottage is positioned so you can see the lake from every room. Dragonfly Point is stocked with games, kayaks, canoes, art supplies, books, two fire pits and even a hammock or two. There's a sand beach perfect for sand castles and visiting dragonflies. The original 1950s-style, lake cottage architecture is honored, and yet updated with modern amenities. There are so many windows, you'll feel as if you are part of nature even when indoors. You'll be cozy and comfortable without roughing it here! This cottage can host up to 12-14 people with a king bed, 2 queen beds, a full-size bunk bed, and 2 full beds, plus a pack and play, and blow up queen and twin beds. We have an infant/toddler package that includes a baby monitor, appropriate toys and books, dishes, cozy blankets, pack-n-play and high chair. There is also a toddler chair.The kitchen is fully stocked with a Cuisinart, blender, toasters, crockpots, coffee pots as well as a French press, coffee grinder, pots and pans, pitchers and platters and every tool you can imagine to cook a spectacular meal. Use the convection oven for baking bread or brownies! We even have a tools for campfire meals and treats. We have both a Big Green Egg (with cookbook) and a Weber grill. There's the main refrigerator, plus an additional mini fridge in the dining room.You'll have access to terrific WiFi, although the setting is so peaceful and there's so much to do, you can tune out the world. We also provide info about on our favorite spots to hike, eat out, bicycle, take a day trip, ski, explore water falls, hear music and other recreation. Our cabin is located right smack in the middle of the true north woods experience. Vilas county is home to one of the largest collections of freshwater lakes in the world, with more than 1,300 beautiful lakes and 73 rivers and streams. The Eagle River chain is the largest freshwater chain of lakes in the world and boasts over 11,000 acres. It’s primarily known for its Muskies but also offers an exceptional fishery focusing on walleye and panfish. Fishing not your thing? No problem. The chain is fully recreational. Jet ski rentals and wake board boats are available to rent within a 1/2 mile of the cabin. Plenty of places to eat & catch a drink right off the water and even on the water (may come across a floating margarita bar). A few popular sand bars on the chain can become quite festive on holiday weekends.The cabin itself is sprawled out giving everyone plenty of space and it’s not cramped like most of the cabins in the area. The entire property is 1 acre and its completely fenced in for dogs. Great WIFI signal for the area. Large game room is where most people like to congregate for some competitive ping pong, darts, bags, board games or some classic arcade games (over 400). Have bags, floatable’s, water trampoline, axe throwing, spike ball, lawn darts and 4 cross for outdoor entertainment. Two large fire pits in the back yard, one lakeside and one closer to the back patio. Picnic table and giant spool by lakeside fire pit. Two grills available for outdoor cooks. Neither is gas. I have a large Weber charcoal and a large green egg that I use primarily for smoking. It’s the best way to cook on vacation. Put some ribs on the grill, go out and enjoy your day on the water and come back home to a tasty dinner. Property has two kayaks that come with the rental. Fishing boat and pontoon boat also available for rent. The town of eagle river itself has a population of 1,628 and has that small town charm with a vibrant downtown. Because of the many lakes in the area, the city is a popular vacation and retirement destination. The area contains many condominiums, seasonal vacation homes, and hunting cabins. Fishing, water sports, biking, hiking, antiquing, golfing, snowmobiling and ATV’ing are a just a few of the many activities the area offers. The main house is about 30 yards from the water. The lakeside duplex is not operational atm but plans on remodeling it are in the works. There will be no work being done during your stay but we do plan on renting this out for multi family/large family weekly rentals during the summer, hopefully by summer 2025. The duplex would add an additional 950 sq ft of living quarters, with each side consisting of a full kitchen, bathroom, large bedroom and lakeside views from the living room through the large bay windows. You can’t get any closer to the water besides living in a house boat.
