Please close tank valve when you are done. Please do not run when not sitting by the fire. Should you need to refill the propane tanks, please just send us a picture of the receipt and we will reimburse you!Note: we have 5 chairs on our deck but none out at the firepit area. Bring your own chairs or sit on a nearby stump. Guests may use the options above for having a fire if they certify that they will do so safely and will be responsible for any damage due to its use or misuse. Please no candles.HEATHeat is powered by our boiler system and is controlled by the digital thermostats in the hallway and main bedroom. It takes a bit to come up to temp but will be warm and cozy. This cute, country cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 bath with a treehouse reading loft in the bunk room. The floors are wood, kitchen is custom built with stainless steel appliances, bathroom vanity is custom built using the original kitchen sink from the home, and the bunks are built in as well. There is a very large yard. There are 4 ski resorts within 20 minutes, the Weston Country Store and play house are 5 minutes up the road, and you can walk to the local farmers market every Saturday.The spaceWe do not provide a tv or Wi-Fi. The location was somewhat out of the way, making for a very peaceful stay and beautiful stars to view through the 'skylight' above the bed. There's not a lot to do in the area, and not a ton of restaurants super close by, but a little driving made it worthwhile. The hot tub was fabulous.The one thing I would suggest is to put some curtains on the large French doors leading to the balcony right outside of the bedroom area.It feels very invasive without them - we rigged up a blanket to cover the window, as right outside of those doors is a large farmhouse, also rented. The only way to get up to the house is a winding metal staircase, which was super cool, but would be difficult for folks with mobility issues.
