This traditional highland hotel, close to Loch Ness, is in the Highland village of Invermoriston and is ideally located on the A82 at the junction for Skye, Lochaber and Inverness is 40-minute drive away.
The Glenmoriston Arms is has over 100 malt whiskeys and the restaurant serves fresh Scottish products.
Guests can relax in the lounge area which has a wood burning stove, and during the warmer months there are tables outside.
Located at the junction on the A82 where the road splits into three, Inverness lies a 30-minute drive away. The area surrounding the property is home to wildlife and offers beautiful scenery.

We visited as a group of four walkers for 1 night only. We were made to feel extremely welcome from the moment we arrived and nothing was a problem. Even the new seasonal staff who'd only been there a few days were really helpful. The evening meal in the restaurant was superb, as was breakfast in the morning. The hotel offers packed lunches with everything you'd want in it, including a choice of delicious sandwiches. Rooms were clean, comfortable & spacious. My only suggestions for improvement are to please offer some decent non-alcoholic beers in the bar, rather than the ubiquitous main stream brands and to check the TV instructions in the rooms as we couldn't get ours to work. My overall impression: this is a great place to stay

We were staying up the hill and decided to walk down to the pub section at the front of the hotel having phoned ahead confirming if they accept dogs which they did. It was a Friday night and empty which didn't surprise us as invermoriston is quite remote. The pub is very clean and well lit with not a huge range of beers on tap available but I managed 👌.. The staff were friendly and polite and offered a tab after I told them my family were joining me. Not the cheapest but if you want cheap drinks go to the coop or Aldi and sit in your living room 😂.. All in this was a nice little place to have a couple but I couldn't stay there for a session. Worth the visit if you're looking for a quick, pleasant little pint

Lovely country pub in charming village on the great glen way. A warm welcome when we arrived. Wonderful food in the restaurant real quality. Comfortable rooms and beds and a great breakfast and packed lunch for our walk. A lovely place to stay.

Wir waren in dem B&B nebenan. Sind abends zum Essen hier gewesen, weil es uns empfohlen wurde. Alles sehr stylisch....auch die Preise. Für einen eher mäßig guten Burger haben wir schlappe 21 £ gezahlt. War das günstigste auf der Karte. Weniger exklusiv, dafür etwas preiswerter wäre schöner. Es gibt allerdings keine Alternativen.

Friends and I were staying in a local B&B for three nights and the hotel was the only place to have dinner. The food and service were very good. However, we were disappointed that “Today’s Menu” didn’t change at all over the 3 nights, even the items on the “Specials” board.

We popped in for our dinner on a whim. We had a bar meal and were served the best fish and chips I've had in a long time, huge portion, really well cooked and beautifully presented! Loved the atmosphere in the bar, the staff were friendly and we were served really quickly - great place!

We spent two nights here in June. This hotel and its staff are an absolute gem. We had the best time exploring the sights. The restaurant is wonderful. Dinner was such a treat. We had a lovely time and would love to come back. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel.

Stayed nearby for a holiday. We decided to go to the Glenmoriston for evening dinner as it was a very short walk. We had food and drinks during our time there. The food was pleasant but overpriced! The menu was limited, not a lot of choice (4 only to choose from). I was disappointed to note on paying the bill that a pint of cider was £8.20, really? We didn't go back. I am surprised if locals regularly go there due to their inflated prices! Anyone reading this, Fort Augustus is only a 6 mile drive from here.

A gem of a place for a light lunch to break up the long drive from Skye to Inverness. Toasted Ooen Sandwiches went down a treat with our group, as did the Glenmoriston lager. Enthusiastic & professional staff, especially when establishing allergies within the group. Definitely my go to place on this journey now.
