"Beautiful room, everyone was polite and helpful. The location was good, very quiet at night. Got nothing to complain of course, as it costed that amount per night."

"There are fancier hotels with pools and fancy bars in town. But for the fair price and great service, I don't know how you would do better. Sra. Gomez who runs the front desk was great with communication and she sent a taxi (free) to pick me up at the airport. She also let me play with the cat at the hotel. The room has good wifi, good air conditioning, and a hot shower with good water pressure (you CANNOT drink the tap water, don't do it). Also, there is not hot water in the sink for shaving, is what it is, that's not uncommon in South America. And you will need to buy drinking water at a nearby store. But there is a fridge, which was a surprise, so if you buy beer or something, you can keep it there. There is a room safe, but I didn't know how to work it. The breakfast is upstairs, it's not fancy but it's free and fine, fruit, toast, coffee and an egg. Everyone at this hotel is nice and helpful. The location felt very safe. I would stay here again. We had a fun communal moment during a thunder storm where guests and staff stood outside and watched. It was nice. I travel a lot in South America, and I can say this is a good hotel run by nice, honest, friendly people and you will feel comfortable here. "

"The hotel staff were friendly, offered airport pickup, rooms spacious and clean, however this hotel did not have a lot of the things that were advertised. I was staying at this hotel just for the night because I was headed to the Amazon the next day. I arrived around 6pm and I’m a solo female so I wanted to just arrive at the hotel, not leave and eat dinner there, then go to sleep. Upon arrival I asked where the restaurant was just to be told there was no restaurant. I was extremely disappointed as that was the reason I booked this hotel and it advertised that there was one. As a young solo female traveler I did not feel comfortable walking around by myself at night but I was forced to walk to the nearest convenience store to grab a snack for dinner. The next morning I went to breakfast, which was mediocre at best, that was located in the supposed restaurant. So there is a restaurant, but it’s only open for breakfast I suppose. There was a pool at this hotel as well however there was no water in it, so I’m glad I wasn’t planning to use the pool. There was also no hot water for the shower. The hotel itself overall is fine, just extremely misleading and did not have many of the things advertised so be aware."

The staff went above and beyond, making every interaction feel personal and sincere. Absolutely divine artwork around the whole hotel, simply striking pieces, great Amazonian ambience. The setting itself is nothing short of beautiful. A serene pool framed by graceful palm trees provided the perfect place to unwind, while the balcony offered stunning views that made each morning and evening feel special. Inside, the king-size bed was incredibly comfortable—easily one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had while traveling. Samiria Jungle Hotel provided everything I needed and more. It’s a place where comfort, beauty, and genuine hospitality come together effortlessly. I leave feeling grateful, refreshed, and already looking forward to returning. Blessings."
