St Ninians flat
We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs.
The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on when we needed it.
The nearest supermarket (Coop) is in Rothesay itself about a mile away.
The only point to be aware of is that in common with most other holiday flats, previous renters have made a complete mess of the frying pans and the one teacloth.
You might be advised to bring your own.

Excellent three night stay
We stayed for three nights as a family with a young baby. The apartment had everything we could have possibly needed, and nothing was too much trouble during our stay. The place was clean, comfortable, spacious and had the most incredible views where we could sit and watch the ferry. We definitely hope to stay again!

My husband and I stayed in St. Ninians Bay apartment with some spectacular views. The apartment was very comfortable and nicely furnished. Owners were very helpful even when we had a small issue it was quickly resolved. Will definitely be back

The apartment we stayed in was tired and dated, the kitchen area and oven is poor felt dirty, shower goes cold really quickly , owner responded well when the electricity went off , it’s such a shame because it could be a nice place to stay , sea views and the walk into town was lovely …but for me it definitely needs updating some of the bedding was also not clean but assume the owners use private cleaners …

The property was definitely not luxury. The curtains did not draw properly due to missing rings. There were light bulbs not working and the wardrobes in the bedroom did not close properly due to being cheap.The shower was large but not very powerful and needed to be resealed with new sealistic. The cheap kitchen units did not align properly and the chairs at the table were stained. The property was definitely past its sell by date! Would not stay here again.

Thank you Lynn and Alistair for a hugely enjoyable stay on the friendliest of islands. The apartment was very spacious, well equipped, clean and comfortable. Perfectly located half way between a peaceful village, with it's own community pub, and the bustling town. We enjoyed stunning sunrises and sunsets, and made the most of an in house RIB boat trip too. Really friendly and helpful hosts. Hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful weekend break staying in Kerrycroy apartment. The apartment is spotless , beds very comfortable the kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need. The views are amazing ! great location. We have stayed in this apartment many times and we have booked to come back in July as we enjoyed it so much.

Stayed in one of the flats here. Generally requires a coat of paint, lots of maintenance, updating and a deep clean. The twin bedroom walls are damp behind the beds with black mould on the walls, with sweets etc still under the bed from previous guests. The wall lights “blew” on 2 occasions, the shower pressure is non existent and there are silver fish in the bathroom. Definitely not a 4 star establishment.
