A lovely & friendly small hotel Situated in exactly the right place to explore the Usit's . The rooms are very comfortable with all the facilities you would expect. Breakfast & Dinner were excellent with great choices. Cannot recommend highly enough

Had a superb stay at this lovely hotel. Our room was lovely, facing the temple, beautifully decorated and had everything needed, hairdryer, tea & coffee, bath sheets, arm chairs and table, comfortable bed. There is a bar area, conservatory and small sitting room. The food is delicious, home cooked and plentiful. The new owners are lovely, friendly and extremely helpful.

My wife and I stayed for one night at this lovely hotel in a twin room. It was quite spacious and well-appointed. It was also located at the back of the hotel, one floor up, so it was also very quiet. After we arrived, we opted to eat a light dinner in their restaurant. It was the perfect size for us and quite good. This allowed us to get a chance to talk to Katie and Alex, the new owners. They are very hands on, personable and motivated to keep their hotel as the #1 choice for travelers. If we return to Carinish, this is where we will stay.

Don’t ignore this small hotel on the roadside: it is a wee gem. We were very impressed with our well appointed room and en suite, whose lovely hot shower is a necessity after a hard cycle ride. The lounge/bar area and pretty garden room where dinner was served is attractive and cosy. However, what stood out most was the really lovely couple and their staff who run this establishment. They couldn’t do enough for us. We wish them well for future success in their new business.

Temple View is a super destination. Very friendly staff. Lovely food. Comfortable bedroom. We visited for the first time. Katie was so helpful telling us of interesting places to visit in and around Carinish. She recommended the RSPB sanctuary along the road and we spent a while there. Super location 😊

We co-guided a wildlife group of 12 people for our School of Birding for a week on the Outer Hebrides, using the Temple View as our base throughout - in short, we loved it! The hotel is great - lovely views, very comfortable, super clean, and recently modernised. Katie and Alex were absolutely wonderful in every respect - nothing was too much trouble, our breakfasts and evening meals were great, and they were just lovely with all our clients, whatever their needs. Would 100% recommend and we can't wait to go back!
