The cottage is not part of this rental and is the owner's residence. Luxury and tropical charm are abundant right from start as you enter the private gated entry with stone pillars surrounded with bright flowers and lush palms.The property is situated on a hillside with western views out to the ocean with amazing sunsets from your private pool and BBQ area. The home also has a rear view looking over the 13th green of the famous Masters at Kaanapali golf course and the west Maui mountains. The main entry is at the rear of the home and features a porch with a rich mahogany and glass entry doors which lead into a grand atrium with 22 feet soaring ceilings culminating in a vast custom 20 feet by 20 feet skylight. The skylight provides sparkling natural light down through the two floor high atrium. Centered in a large pot in the grand entry below the skylight is a majestic bamboo palm that reaches up two floors bringing the tropical essence of Hawaii into the heart of the home. Beyond there is a 24 ft wall of glass that can be pulled back which leads out onto a vast pool with ocean views, perfectly framed by large mature palm trees.This home features an abundance of custom features along with travertine floors, solid mahogany doors and trim, with select rich hardwoods on the upper bedroom floors.
