Hotel Golden Rock

I had booked this hotel but when i arrived there i decided not to spend a night over there, the room shown to me was shabby and the staff was unprofessional

Hotel golden rock has ample parking space but its location is not good, it is located in very interior. Staff needs to be properly trained. Bedsheets and lenin were soiled, pillow covers seemed unwashed and at last bed was not comfortable at all. This did not justify the high reviews desert safari and city tour provided was good but you need to lot of bargaining for correct price. 4. 4

We stayed here only for a night and it was the worst decision. It ruined our experience of Jaisalmer. While checking in, the person at the counter did NOT take any kind of identification which was unsafe, someone from the counter kept staring and I felt very unsafe. Later, the people kept on pushing us to get the safari even when we denied and was not interested in providing service. We got so frustrated that we left without even having breakfast even when our package included the same. It is not a safe hotel for women, pls do not go.

The hotel from outside looks very good but everything is different inside. It is a typical 2 star hotel. I found below issues and disappointments in this hotel 1. No toiletries inside bathroom. 2. Ac remots were missing and 1 ac was making noise and dripping water 3. Tvs were not working 4. Open wires and hazardous 5. Not having a proper restaurant 6. All payment in advance even if you order a tea 7. Almost everything, you need to make a complaint to get it complete. Also, they have provided desert safari service which was not at all good. This hotel looks for money by providing the top class service in words and worst service in practical

Approach road is very poor, in fact no road in last 100 mtrs. Toilet not in good condition. Room boys/reception boy have poor response

From the moment I stepped into the lobby to the time I checked out, everything was spotless. The housekeeping staff paid meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every corner of my room was pristine. The linens were fresh and crisp, and the bathroom sparkled. It was evident that they take great pride in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. The public areas were equally impressive. The lobby, hallways, and dining areas were consistently well-maintained throughout my stay. I never encountered any mess or clutter. Overall, Hotel Golden Rock's commitment to cleanliness greatly enhanced my stay. I would not hesitate to return or recommend it to others looking for a five-star experience.
