"Very comfortable bed, even has duvet and bedsheets layers. Big Samsung TV with multiple channels. Hot water is available readily, do not have to wait. Room came with a sofa and is spacious. Hair dryer is available as well."
"No breakfast. The clerk (American Uncle) is very enthusiastic. Basically, the guests staying at the hotel went to Joseph Metty and set off early in the morning. The small town where the hotel is located is very characteristic and worth visiting. There is a very good steak shop next to the shop, and there are several restaurants in the town, not far away."
"The room we stayed in was a cottage, which was standing alone cottage with one small double bed and a sofa bed. There were two sections, one was for beds and the other part was a kitcken. The location was so great in the middle of downtown of a very lovely Jamestown. All the buildings were in vintage styles. The breakfast basket for tomorrow morning came at night. Not very neat since the furniture was old and having scratches caused by pets."
"The location of the hotel is very good! We are within walking distance of large supermarkets, high street shops and restaurants. The accommodation environment is clean and well-equipped, and parking is convenient. What's even better is that the reception staff are very enthusiastic and take the initiative to introduce us to many local attractions and fun places.
Breakfast is right next to the reception desk, with great coffee and simple but sincere snacks.
Sonora is a warm and cozy town with historical atmosphere and temperament. There are various styles of houses, delicious restaurants, and specialty shops on both sides of the street...it is worth visiting here."
"I can't say enough good things about Chicken Ranch Casino Resort!
My brother recently stayed here, and from the moment he arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure his visit was special. Everyone was incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely caring. You don’t always find that kind of hospitality these days — but you absolutely will here.
They weren’t just friendly — they were supportive in a way that felt personal. It wasn’t just customer service; it was human kindness. Whether it was help with accommodations, directions, or just making sure he felt welcomed, they delivered an experience that stood out in the best way.
If you're looking for a place that values people and treats you like more than just a guest, I 100% recommend Chicken Ranch Casino Resort. It’s rare to find a resort that combines great amenities with a staff that has heart. This place does both — and then some.
Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back!"

"Not bad. Go to yosemite and book it here. It is not close to the big oak flat entrance, but the price is low enough. Breakfast is bread and milk, and there is a coffee machine at the front desk to drink at will. Sonora is a historical town that retains the prosperous city view during the California Gold Rush in the 1850s. The hotel is relatively hygienic, but it is full of Lao Mo."
"It was a nice unique hotel. The building history is really cool and the rooms represented that. Was pretty clean but rooms are generally smaller the regular hotels but the bathroom was really big and impressive. The pool was great. The breakfast was actually pretty decent the offerings changed a bit in our 2 day stay which gave it variety. The waffle maker is great. I would definitely stay again. Just fyi there are no cards to access the room they are actually keys and the doors self lock."
