We stayed for a week as a family during August school holidays. We arrived around 10:30pm and we were immediately greeted at reception and offered a drink. The scent when entering the hotel is refreshing and relaxing. Our family room was lovely, cleaned every day to a high standard and plenty big enough for the 3 of us. We had a view of the pools and the sea. We could not fault anything about this hotel. We loved the pools, the buffet food, the great availability of drinks, the beach and all the entertainment. The hotel is so well set up for children. There is plenty going on and we enjoyed the evening entertainment. The staff were always friendly and in good spirits. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Todos los años, desde hace al menos 15, nos alojamos una semana en este hotel y lamento profundamente tener que comentar que nuestra última estancia (la semana pasada) no ha resultado tan excelente como todas las anteriores. En general, debo admitir que se ha mantenido a nivel de las expectativas, salvo en la limpieza de la habitación (y en general de otros entornos, como los jardines y la piscina). Yo creo que el problema radica en la falta de personal suficiente para la saturación de clientes que tienen. En otros servicios, como la restauración (tanto en el Maray, como en el Marasul), no se nota tanto la falta de personal gracias a la profesionalidad y eficiencia de sus camareros/as, siempre pendientes, siempre amables, siempre una sonrisa y un saludo. Yo destacaría que precisamente este es el mejor atributo de su hotel, la profesionalidad y amabilidad de su personal (gracias a Damián, Ana Rosa, Juan Carlos, Francisco, Johana, y a todos los que no recuerdo el nombre, lo siento). Volviendo a la limpieza y el mantenimiento de la habitación, a pesar de ser recientemente renovada, el grifo de la lavabo estaba a punto de desmontarse, el balcón no se barrió en toda la semana, y un día no nos hicieron la limpieza (y otro tuvimos que dejar la habitación después de comer, en pleno calor), y esto me parece muy lamentable en un hotel de este nivel. Comentamos esta incidencia en recepción y con la relaciones públicas, y la única respuesta fue traer toallas limpias e indicar que podríamos sugerir horario de limpieza (irrelevante porque era nuestro último día), también se lo indicamos al servicio de limpieza, y nos respondieron con estupor que no se habían enterado de nada. Del mismo modo, respecto a las zonas del entorno de las piscinas, las hamacas y las mesitas, habitualmente estaban sucias. Yo entiendo que somos muchos y no todos tienen en cuidado necesario para procurar no ensuciar demasiado, hay mucho niño, muchas familias... quizás parte del problema sea este: sobresaturación de clientes para la plantilla contratada. Después de 15 años visitando su hotel anualmente, creo que su cambio de orientación les puede hacer morir de éxito, una prueba de ello es la dificultad diaria de encontrar una hamaca disponible, porque gente insolidaria las ocupa con toallas, y después se van a otro sitio. También me gustaría sugerirles, si podrían dedicar alguna zona de baño a adultos, y alguna terraza donde tomar algo sin que los niños griten y corran a tu alrededor. En fin, es muy probable que vuelva de nuevo, porque estoy enamorada de Jandía y sus playas, y en su hotel me siento como en casa, pero este año no ha sido el mejor.

Decent, however not truly a “for kids” resort Good family atmosphere, and great staff, however comes with a few easily fixable challenges. I went there for a week with my partner and 2 girls. Was surprised that no water in the room and no minibar. They have RO dispensers on the floor and give glass jugs in the room. Now I get the whole eco friendly stance, however I trust bottled water rather than the filter on a RO machine, so why not have glass bottles in the room, given the glass jug? Secondly, and most importantly, we went to a child friendly hotel for the kids club so was surprised to see that the club for 4-8y/o is only open on most days (not all) from 10:30-12:45. Half the time they have family activities so not a kids club in the true sense of the word. When I asked why, the answer was not enough staff. Apart from those two instances, the holiday was enjoyable, and the food (even if no a la carte restaurants) is good with a decent choice. The staff is wonderful and Elina at reception was very accommodating and supportive with all of my enquiries.

Estoy muy muy contenta de estar viviendo esta experiencia en el hotel,las personas que nos ayudan desde la señora que limpia la habitación,los camareros como se preocupan porque estemos bien,están muy atentos y muy cerca,la comida es excelente,muy rica ,con mucha variedad,y de muy buena calidad,me recuerda a mi casa,y todas ,todas las personas que se dedican a que seamos felices por unos días,como siempre nos escuchan y nos sonríen.Sigan así por favor.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Chambre propre et spacieuse. Accès à la plage via un petit sentier. Animations du soir sympathiques. Nourriture variée et bonne. Notre fille de 5 ans a également adoré ! Tout est pensé pour les enfants.

Una experiencia muy bonita relajada y tranquila, un 10 en los servicios, la limpieza genial, las comidas muy ricas y variadas, una mención especial para Lorenzo el señor q nos atendió en la recepción, el señor que nos da las toallas muy amable 😉, en general os recomiendo no saltarse la experiencia, un saludos nos veremos de nuevo seguro.

Schönes Familienhotel, tolle Lage. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super Nett und Hilfsbereit. Besonders Damian im Restaurant ist eine wundervolle Person, sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Die Putzkraft ist ebenfalls sehr aufmerksam und macht einen tollen Job. Das Einzige was verbessert werden kann ist die Animation. War mir persönlich etwas zu wenig.

Ich habe noch nie ein so schönes Hotel erlebt: es ist sehr sauber, das Essen so abwechslungsreich, es wird ständig etwas für die Kinder oder die Erwachsenen geboten, die Zimmer sind sehr schön, SPA-Möglichkeiten, der Strand ist super und leicht zu erreichen…und von dem Reinigungskräften bis hin zu den leitenden Angestellten sind alle super freundlich zu jedem und vor allem zu den Kindern. Es ist nur zu empfehlen und ich werde auf alle Fälle noch einmal hinfahren. Jederzeit zu empfehlen

Ich bin wahrscheinlich zu verwöhnt vom Service der Iberostar Hotels in Méxiko. Unser Urlaub mit den beiden Kindern 4 und 6) war ok aber nicht so toll, wie ich es mir von den Beschreibungen und Bewertungen erhofft hätte. Essen war okay, es gibt nur Buffet und keine einzige a-la-carte Möglichkeit. Meinem Partner hat irgendetwas ziemlich auf den Magen geschlagen, sodass 1 Tag komplett ruiniert war. Der Kidsclub ein absoluter Reinfall, im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels. Lediglich die Möglichkeit, die Kids von 10:00 bis 12:45 abzugeben und auch nicht täglich, da plötzlich aufgrund anderer Aktivitäten bei denen die Eltern mitmachen müssen, der Kidsclub zu ist. Nachmittags auch keine Betreuungsmöglichkeiten. Es gab ein Themen-Abendessen (auch Buffet), für das man reservieren musste. Gesagt, getan. Es hieß 18:30 - 20:00 Uhr. Rezeption hat es versäumt zu erwähnen, dass man pünktlich 18:30 dazusein hat, sodass wir ziemlich frostig empfangen wurden. Im Pool fällt das Mosaik bereits ab/auseinander, sodass kleine Fliesebstückchen überall auf den Poolböden herumliegen und ein eventuelles Verletzungsrisiko darstellen. Safe im Zimmer mit Aufpreis, Minibar ebenso, kein täglicher Handtuchtausch für Strandtücher möglich. Web-Check-In war ein absoluter Reinfall, da eine unserer Töchter im System nicht korrekt registriert wurde, sodass Anmeldung im KidsClub zum Problem wurde. Rezeption hat ewig gebraucht, um das Problem (scheinbar) zu beheben. Bis dato kam die Änderung im System nicht durch und niemand weiß es zu ändern. Die Kinder haben trotzdem einen tollen Urlaub verbracht. Wir als Eltern sind etwas enttäuscht.

Nie polecam. Zostaliśmy okradzeni z pieniędzy, które były w portfelach w pokojach. Manager serwisu nie zrobiła nic, żeby nam pomóc. Nie przeprosiła. Nie zaproponowała rekompensaty. Totalne lekceważenie klienta. Żadnej odpowiedzialności. Sejfy są zepsute. Dodatkowo wieczorami prawie nic się nie dzieje. Muzyki brak. Jeśli jest jakieś wydarzenie, to na poziomie 1 gwiazdki. Nudy. Do plaży jest daleko, a wraca się pod górę. Leżaków przy basenach brakuje dla wszystkich gości. Zajęcia przy basenie są nieskoordynowane i dzieją się jednocześnie, wypierając siebie nawzajem. W mojej ocenie to bardziej pajacowanie niż rzeczywista aktywizacja gości. Ogólnie - hotel nie warty swojej ceny kompletnie!

Hemos pasado una magnífica semana en este hotel en el que hemos tenido una gran experiencia. He de destacar sobre todo lo demás la magnífica atención de todo el personal, desde los integrantes de la recepción, las camareras de planta y el personal de sala de los servicios de comedor y bar. Es más que destacable la limpieza general de todas las instalaciones, habitaciones, pasillos, piscinas, comedores y bares. Están mantenidas todas a un nivel increíble. Llegamos con el tiempo más que justo para comer, y tras comprobar la reserva nos enviaron al comedor para que no perdiéramos esa comida, sin haber hecho el check-in. Fue una primera señal que nos indicaba que la preocupación por los huéspedes es máxima y que nos hacía presagiar una gran estancia, como así fue. La comida está a un gran nivel. Se nota en los platos de “guiso”, que hay profesionales en plantilla que saben cocinar muy bien. La variedad de platos, incluyendo jornadas temáticas hacía difícil sentir una sensación de monotonía. Acompañado por una amplia variedad de opciones y materias primas de calidad, ofrecían un gran resultado, incluso en la zona del comedor destinada a los niños. Los horarios están más enfocados al público no español, pero siendo bastante compatibles con los de huéspedes españoles medios. La habitación familiar en la que nos alojamos tenía muy buen tamaño y una decoración agradable. El hotel dispone de un amplio aparcamiento gratuito en el que siempre encontramos hueco para aparcar. Una gran idea la de que las pulseras sirvieran para abrir las puertas e identificarse en el comedor. En resumidas cuentas, una experiencia digna de la máxima calificación que otorgo en esta reseña.

Perfect Family Holiday – So Many Thoughtful Touches! We had an amazing experience at Iberostar Waves Fuerteventura – truly one of the best family holidays we’ve had! Thoughtful little touches like kiddy-sized sunbeds made such a difference and showed how well the resort caters to families. The entertainment staff were fantastic – always friendly and full of energy, and they managed to get everyone involved without being over the top. One of the most memorable moments was the jewellery-making activity using recycled glass. It was creative, fun, and something you rarely see at all-inclusive resorts. A real highlight of our stay! I’ve already recommended this hotel to all our friends – it’s the ideal place for a relaxing, fun-filled family getaway. It’s worth noting that the hotel was about 95% German-speaking during our stay. That said, most German guests spoke English and were very friendly, so it didn’t cause any issues at all when communicating. If you’re looking to mingle, just be aware of the language mix – but for us, it wasn’t a problem in the slightest.

What a fantastic hotel and perfect for families. Went with our 4 year old and 16 month old. Pools were great 4 year old loved them all especially the one with the inflatable. Our baby loved the baby pool which was warm and cute slides. Food was great with a good selection for kids not just nuggets and chips and plenty of choice for our baby who has dairy allergy. Also gave us oat milk to have in room for him. Food was great, hotel is clean, fresh, modern and bright. Fantastic entertainment daily and nightly. Our littlest one was dancing all night long often last one standing. Beach 5 min walk away. Little room with baby toys. Arcade take money as cash machine charges 6 euro. Take towel pegs as can get windy! Slide in reception was a hit. Honestly couldn't get a better hotel for families. Will defo visit again. Staff were so friendly and took time to welcome kids into meal times, high fiving them, giving them special drinks. Perfect hotel with a lot of thought into how to make it a perfect holiday for families.
