From the moment you exit your car, you amazed by the welcome of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is fantastic and the dining staff very attentive. The chef appears to make sure you have enjoyed your meal and do no require something extra, or a snack to take with you. We were lucky enough to have a tour of the hotel including the Mararani suite. With a very knowledgeable *** who had worked at the hotel for 39 years.

The rooms are regal and the city view from atop the hill upon which the palace is built is breathtaking! I enjoyed the breakfast courteously served by Narendra, Jabbar and Souville. The high tea is sumptuous and Ganga ensures that the tea is personalised to your taste. The Charlies can be gold plated like Rambagh Palace, Jaipur to add to the royal feel. The checkin was done with great aplomb by Aniket and the checkout with utmost grace by Rajnandani :) My choice, Ciambotta Tart (Truffles & bocconcini) which was not available for In Room Dining at 3am (understandable) was served to me for breakfast to ensure that I at least enjoy it. Thank you for that! Last but not the least, the sendoff in the hotel taxi had their expert airport representative Ranu Singh who ensured a smooth checkin and security process. I was impressed!!!

The property is magnificent and the overall level of comfort / experience etc was world class. Of the four hotels that we visited in Rajasthan this was head and shoulders the best. The level of service from the staff was world class; wish we had stayed there longer

A spectacular place to stay. Rooms were like an apartment more than a hotel room. The amenities are first class - gym, pool, bar etc The breakfast was excellent and they went the extra mile . I asked for a special kind of Dosa and the chef made it not having known what it was. But my most special call out has to be to the wonderful Twisha. Twisha was assigned to look after me for my stay and I have to say I have never experienced service as good as this. Nothing was too much trouble. She anticipated my every need and made sure I had the best experience. She suggested local foods when I went into town and was recommending what to try from the buffet we had on the premises for our conference. I hope I get to return to this magnificent hotel

This is the most unimaginably beautiful and luxurious hotel conceivable. Still occupied in part by the royal family, the Palace itself is huge and stunning, and the attention to detail is incredible. We were there for Holi and were privileged to meet the King and Queen, and to participate in what many describe as the most amazing Holi celebration in all of India. We felt like royalty, and were even treated to an exclusive dinner prepared for us on the lawn of the Palace. The level of service was incomparable, and we especially note that the following individuals provided flawless attention to our comfort and enjoyment: Swaroop, Sikander, Rajveer, Surenda, Alka, Karan, Malkiva, and Chef Shobhit. Our group of 11 friends enjoyed three days at this fairy-tale style palace. We were welcomed with musicians, flowers, and the Maharajah and his family during a cocktail welcome party. The palace and grounds are truly regal. You are immediately transported to a different time and place where no comfort and attention have been spared. The variety and quality of food ( including seafood in a desert) was over the top, but what most impressed us was the regal-like service we received We truly felt like royalty, The highlight of our stay was celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi. There is no place on earth I would have enjoyed it better!

Truly a exceptional stay. The hotel exceeded all expectations. Everything about this hotel was exceptional, from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. A perfect blend of luxury and comfort. We were thoroughly impressed. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The service was impeccable, with every request met with efficiency and a smile. The concierge was exceptionally helpful in providing recommendations and assistance. The housekeeping staff was discreet and ensured our room was always immaculate. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The food was delectable, sumptuous, scrumptious, savory palatable & outstanding with a wide variety of delicious options and customized to suit your taste buds. The hotel's ambiance was sophisticated and elegant, creating a truly luxurious atmosphere. The hotel's design and decor were stunning, creating a visually appealing and comfortable space. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. It was our special day as we were celebrating our anniversary together and making it truly a memorable one and loved the idea for a very unique way of celebrating it. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. We can't wait to return for another visit. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable. The palace can’t be expressed in words. You have to spend to experience it. The stay started with a royal welcome and classic Rajasthani dhol. The place has lots of activities - kite flying, cookie making, feather hunt, palace tour, etc to keep you engaged for the evening. If you have booked Umaid Bhawan, just forget the city and enjoy the palace. The palace is an ideal location for capturing photos both during day and night. Food is awesome. Chef Shobhit Karan had manager Sangram Singh really made our stay memorable with their servings and service. It is heavy on the pocket, but worth it. Cons - at these prices, Taj palaces should offer complementary pickup / drop from airport/railway station, for which they charge extra.
