Privately located at the end of country road, close to Gore Mountain for downhill skiing and Garnet Hill Lodge for cross country skiing and surrounded by woods and meadows to walk or snow shoe. Cozy warm in the winter, cool breezes in the summer ...
Optional all natural wood hot tub may be booked for $25 for private one hour experience and is located a short walk away in a Japanese inspired temple with beautiful views.
Cabin is located on family compound with private cabins and glamping tents. In summer we offer wood fired pizza up at the main compound. In summer we have a cutting flower and herb business. About pets:Pets allowed: dogs (limit 1 total).One dog.About checkOut:Check out before 11:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:Your dog MUST stay off the furniture and not be left alone in the cabin..About checkIn:Check in after 3:00 PM.About smoking:Smoking allowed: in designated areas.Smoking outside is fine.About minBookingAge:Minimum age to rent: 21.About events:No events allowed.

The cabin, Bossie, is beautifully located. It also has all of the amenities I needed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, towels, linens. It also is nicely appointed with attractive quilts and curtains. I also like the fire pit. The cabin is near 13th Lake which is gorgeous and quiet. I believe it's on state land.My only concern was the presence of a couple of big unfriendly dogs, maybe owned by other guests or residents nearby. One of them came by and started barking at me the 2nd night. I didn't see them again.Other than that, the cabin and its surroundings are exquisite. Thumbs up!

Fantastic trip overall. I stayed for two nights with my girlfriend and we absolutely loved the cabin. We also got out to High Peaks for a day hike in the Adirondacks. Would absolutely stay here again. Only thing is we didn’t know what time to show up for pizza. Communication was good up until I asked what time, so I’m guessing that message just fell through the cracks. We arrived to the pizza location at 7:30, were informed that it had started at 6:30, and everything was already cleaned up. Thankfully, the pizza oven was still warm and they were able and willing to make one more. Lesson learned: show up at 6:30 for pizza!

Paradise
We loved everything about our paradise in “Bossie” especially the attention to detail. Our favorites were the window seat and waking up to a view beyond belief everyday. Our morning coffee and muffins with Leslie was appreciated and delicious. Would like to return and to stay longer.

Cozy quiet cabin
Just as described. Loved the cabin. Beautiful views. Perfectly stocked with cooking utensils and pans that finally aren’t beat up teflon. One of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. Hot tub was a huge plus. Looking forward to returning.

Skiing at Gore Mountain
This property is perfect if you want to be close to Gore Mountain skiing. Gore is only 5 minutes away.
This little house is perfect and everything they said it was.
We will be back again next year for our Gore Mountain skiing get away.
