Nous avons passé une vraie parenthèse enchantée ! Le cadre ? Charmant. L’accueil ? Aux petits soins. Le confort des chambres ? Digne d’une sieste royale. Tout était réuni pour un séjour parfait. Côté Beaujolais, on a été servis (dans tous les sens du terme). Des dégustations pleines de caractère, des histoires de domaines qui nous ont fait voyager sans quitter notre verre… On en redemande ! Et l’humour dans tout ça ? Présent du début à la fin. Et Jusque dans la déco. Franchement, le plus dur… c’était de repartir. Merci

Nous sommes un groupe de huit amis de longues date qui aimons faire de jolies virées. Cette année c'est le Beaujolais qui était notre destination. Quelle agréable surprise de faire la connaissance de Natalia et Hervé dans leur petit Château de Juliénas. Superbe accueil et présentation complète des lieux. Jardin magnifique et chambres décorées chacune dans un style différent. Beaucoup de goût et de finesse dans la décoration. Chambre confortable et trés calme. Petit déjeuner somptueux dans la salle à manger, rien ne manque. N'hésitez pas à passer du temps dans la cave d'Hervé pour une dégustation sortant de l'ordinaire, vins choisis chez les vignerons et planchettes pour les gourmands. Tous trés contents de ces trois jours au Château, nous sommes certains que nous y reviendrons. Faites de même, vous ne pourrez pas le regretter. Le plaisir naturel bon enfant et amical à l'état pur. Merci Natalia et Hervé.

Our group of six had the pleasure of occupying 3 rooms at Chateau of the Cats. Everything was spectacular from the moment we arrived until Herve stood at the gate and waved goodbye to us as we drove off. Natalia did a wonderful job decorating each of the rooms, the breakfast was delicious, the wine cellar amazing to see, the gardens green and beautiful, the cats a pleasant addition and we lucked out with the weather and were able to enjoy wine on the patio before dinner. Herve and Natalia treated us like family, and it was hard to say goodbye. Every review describes what a wonderful place and people that they are. Such an experience and so relaxing to stay here.

Lovely Pool, Great Wine Cellar!
The location and pool area was lovely, and the room very comfortable. The highlight was the enjoyable wine tasting in the 17th century wine cellar. Herve went out of his way to help us with his extensive knowledge of the wines and the region, very much appreciated! Thank you!

Love this place!
I love this place. It’s the second time here but there will be more visits for sure. The hotel is perfectly located in the north of Beaujolais, close to Lyon and Geneva and is a small castle. Each room is stylishly decorated. Outside it’s like a big garden with a nice pool. So relaxing, like a retreat. Just adult guests and the pool is followingly no playground. Love the hosts Hervé and Natalia who are so friendly and make sure you will have a great stay. Take the opportunity to do the wine tasting, it is just brilliant. Finally, the breakfast is just fabulous. Highly recommended to visit Chateau de Janroux.

If we could rate this hotel higher than 10 we would. Excellent stay for two nights. Wonderful hotel and surroundings for a luxurious and relaxing stay. We loved it and could easily go back.

What a find in the Beaujolais region of France. Loved this beautiful chalet! Room was nicely furnished and huge with private bath. Breakfast was perfect with melt in your mouth freshly baked croissants and local jams. Good coffee too. Having said that, the highlight was touring Herve’s private wine cellar and tasting 10 of his best wines. He has hundreds of bottles in the cellar. You’ll learn more about wines from Herve than any winery visit in France, or anywhere for that matter. Herve’s wife had great restaurant recommendations for the area!

What a perfect spot to begin our trip from southern Burgundy to Bandol. Our host and hostess went out of their way to make us feel welcome. The room was something out of a French romance novel. Clean, quiet, comfortable bed, plenty of space. Breakfast was delightful --fresh croissant, locally made jams and jellies, cheeses, yogurt, all served in a sweet parlor. Just wish we could've stayed a bit longer.
