A very good choice a bit outside of the city center, especially good for Western clients as well.

The hotel is far away from interesting tourist centers whats a disadvantage. Our suite was very large, with large windows and a nice view to a lake nearby. The service was normal good.

Do not book this hotel !
My family and I booked Kaifeng Sheraton two nights. Traveling with elders were difficult to manage so we decided to eat dinner at hotel restaurant. The same night our family 6 people including myself got food poisoning. All have diarrheas. The cause was the pigeon soup. We had to cancel our plans for the day and next. The way hotel dealt with this issue was horrible. They kept on denying the responsibility and blaming us for the meal earlier. They refused to meet my request and refused to share contact of their general manger for further escalation. Kaifeng Sheraton was a terrible experience. Do not stay here.

The hotel’s location is excellent, facing West Lake with a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and professional. The room is spacious and clean. This is the best hotel in Kaifeng and I strongly recommend this hotel to the travelers.
If I visit Kaifeng, I will definitely stay in this hotel.
