If you book this hotel through online sites, you may end up sleeping on the street.They show no ethics or empathy towards customers who spend their money to book rooms in this hotel. I booked a room for my friend from 3-7 November 2024. He reached the reception around 9:30 PM on 3rd November. After checking the booking details, they immediately denied him check-in, saying they do not have any collaboration with online booking sites. They says, since they are already renovated the facility, the rate displayed on the online platforms is not accurate. We were shocked by their response since they claim they are not at all responsible for the listing of their property on online platforms. They argued with ridiculous statements, few of them are, When booking through online platforms, customer should contact the property to confirm that the rate and availability displayed are correct. Don’t worry, you’re not the only customer facing this issue. Sometimes they deny rooms even for families with kids. They were helpless, as the owner of the property told them to act this way. By listing on online platforms with a cheaper price, they attract customers to a remote location,but when customers arrive, they deny entry and ask them to pay double the listed rate. Since there are no other hotels nearby, some customers have no choice but to pay. This fraudulent activity helps them to generate few revenue, but the question is how long they will sustain with this policy. Initially, I thought about filing a police complaint, but later, considering the complications involved, I decided to lodge a complaint through online consumer portals, though I’m unsure of its effectiveness.
