Hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive at reception and breakfast. For the price, the quality of the room and stay was great. More vegan options at breakfast, better toiletries (including a conditioner) and a fixed shower head above the bath in the bathroom would improve the stay.

An incredibly good hotel with lovely rooms and good and competent service. The breakfast buffet was super delicious and there was everything you could think of for breakfast. Good bartender at their "Loft"

Hotel is in a great location near the beach, which the hotel will provide beach towels for. Room was clean and tidy if a little a small with a safe but no iron. Bathroom was clean and functional but drain did smell occasionally and did overflow after using the shower. Staff were very friendly and helpful and food and drink was lovely. The restaurant terrace has some lovely views. There are many bars and restaurants nearby but no real evening entertainment or much to do during the day other than visit the beach or walk along the *****. The town is about a 30 min walk but we used a taxi which cost €4 each way. The town has a castle to visit which cost €5 euros and there are many shops and restaurants in the town

This was a very nice hotel in the heart of Kalamata with a great view of the sea, but there was a giant kids playground between us and the water. It wasn’t open until 9:00 and kids were there the next few hours. Luckily the hotel had great soundproofing and we slept well in spite of the noise outside. Its location worked well for walking all along the shore to the many bars and restaurants available as well as areas to swim.

Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive – everything from the room to the common areas was spotless and well-maintained. It made a big difference in how comfortable I felt during my stay. One small point of feedback: the bathrooms could benefit from some renovation or modern updates. They were perfectly clean and functional, but a refresh would make the experience even better. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel to others.

Everything about my stay was excellent. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the service was truly outstanding – attentive, professional, and friendly. My room was very clean and in great condition, making it easy to relax and enjoy my time there. A special mention to the housekeeping staff – the lady who cleaned my room was exceptionally kind and polite, and she did a wonderful job every day. Overall, a well-run hotel with great attention to detail. I would definitely recommend it!

The Pharae Palace has an excellent location. It is across the beachfront promenade of Kalamata and within walking distance of the city center, shopping and dining. The room was clean, a little dated, perhaps, with air conditioning and flat-screen TVs. It has a restaurant at the top floor with nice panoramic views of the Messinian Gulf and Mount Taygetos. Parking is supposedly available, but it was full when we got there. Luckily we could park just in front of the main entrance. Bed and pillows were a little hard.
