This hotel exceeded our expectations, particularly after a couple of summers in Turkey 5* hotels which were mixed. In all honesty it didn't feel like 5* luxe, just a high standard family hotel - with calm classiness rather than loud brashness. We would definitely recommend it to friends. Customer service clearly mattered and the minor problems we encountered were dealt with very quickly. All staff were friendly yet super professional throughout all areas. As the twins are now 15 we ended up in 2 double mountain view rooms which I was dreading, but the rooms were roomy enough and had loads of storage (nowhere near enough hangers though). They had little fridges always stocked with bottled water, and sandwiches and fruit for arrival were a nice welcome for our late check in (although labelled as to contents would have been even better). Plenty of sockets, a hairdryer, shampoo and soap, free safe although no iron. We were near a bus stop although went on a private trip to Lindos which picked up directly from the hotel, and a boat from the beach to Rhodes. Car hire directly available at the hotel if required and plenty of car park spaces. Restaurants and food was overall excellent and varied, tonnes of quality fresh and properly cooked food, not much frozen or processed junk. Even desserts were varied and quality not the same gelatinous coloured stuff some serve. We never had to wait for a table, the system of greeting and allocating a table worked very well. We loved the calm and relative quietness of the adult area (which the twins were allowed in to eat). I appreciated the attempts at being sustainable, the reusable cups, recycling bins, paper straws, refillable toiletries. The swimming pools were clean, well maintained and slides fun, especially the lazy river to cool down on a hot day. Floats are allowed in the pools. The lifeguards were good, and plenty of very clean, always well stocked toilets close by. The beach had inflatable course (€10 ppph) and watersports a very close walk away. The minor picky niggles I had were: -no handrails on most steps which made me very anxious, particularly as people were going down many marble type steps to toilets or other pool areas with wet feet. I slipped twice and saw other adults and children slip, so I cannot understand why handrails weren't present. -the pingpong table bats were incredibly tired -could have had a few more yellow rings, as once being used for the orange slide there were none for the lazy river (only lasted an hour each day so very minor) -entertainment wasn't particularly good apart from Greatest Showman. It felt low budget school production most evenings. (Musicians were excellent dotted around elsewhere). -although I loved and appreciated the dedicated vegetarian and plant based areas labelling of other items wasn't clear. Allergens were on, but not if it was vegetarian for example soup and the stock used. -I didn't like that there was no deadlock on the ho

Appena rientrata con mia figlia da una settimana a Rodi all' Amada Cosossos Resort, ci siamo trovate molto bene, non ho mai avuto l'impressione di essere circondata da tante persone (la struttura ha capienza con più di 1600 persone ..) il personale garantisce una struttura sempre pulita e in ordine. Non abbiamo mai fatto code sia per colazione, pranzo e cena. Un consiglio: se dovete prenotare uno o più ristoranti alla carta fatelo non appena sapete il numero della vostra stanza.

Very enjoyable week here end of Aug into early Sept. We had 2 rooms with Mountain View on 7th floor. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The Mountain View was fine…sunsets and not overlooked. Was concerned about an apparent struggle to get beds by the pool. We had no such problems as we like to get up early anyhow to go for a swim etc. We always had 4 beds at the water’s edge from 8am and we stayed on them until later in the morning. Only witnessed one couple that had their towels removed for reserving beds before 9am without using them until much later. If you like to get to the pool after 9am then yes you will struggle to find a space. The rule is simply; reserve beds before 9am and sit on them. After that you are free to go to use the restaurant, grab coffee, go down to the beach or whatever. Fair enough. As for the restaurants; the buffet has a wide selection of food. Breakfast is excellent. Lunchtime and evening the food could be served a bit hotter but the quality was good. The Greek a la carte was the best. The bbq beach one was very nice as it was set next to the beach but the buffet could have been warmer. Oriental and Italian were just ok. The beach grill serving souvlaki and gyros was pretty good for a lunchtime bite. The upstairs cocktail bar served the best quality drinks in the evening. Evening entertainment was ok; the Michael Jackson show was the best followed by Mama Mia. Overall, the staff here are fantastic and they work so hard. Credit to them. Shame that the waterpark only had slide open at a time which was not great. Overall, for the price paid we thought it offered good value for money and we would consider returning here again.

Great hotel, very good hotel infrastructure. Delicious food and a professional, always smiling and helpful crew. Many thanks to the waitress Ana and her husband for their professional service during meals. The only minor disadvantage was the central air conditioning in the rooms.

We stayed here as a family - grandparents, parents with two toddlers. Overall, the experience was fine, but it did not quite feel like a true 5-star stay. Positives: • Service was very good, and we never had to wait for anything. • Dinner buffet and à la carte restaurants were enjoyable, with good breakfast as well. • Included rosé wine was nice, though other drinks were less impressive. • The waterpark was a hit with our two-year-olds, and they especially loved running around before the mini disco, dancing with the balloons. • The sea was lovely, but water shoes are definitely needed. Negatives: • Our room felt very basic, not up to 5* standards: no coffee machine or extra touches you’d expect. • The sliding door between the rooms did not reach the ceiling, so there was no privacy. • Very noisy overall: music from the adults’ bar, theater, and main area all carried into the room, and we could also hear corridor noise and neighbors. • Bathroom design offered no privacy – no door to the bathroom itself, and the toilet door also stopped below the ceiling. • The atmosphere lacked coziness and that special touch we’ve experienced at other resorts. Overall: The resort delivered good food, service, and fun for children, but if you’re looking for comfort, privacy, and a true 5-star feel, it may not meet expectations.
