Esperides Beach Resort

On se réjouissait de vivre une semaine dans un magnifique hôtel 4 étoiles mais au plus on peut lui donner 3 étoiles. L'hôtel est ok en gros mais les chambres sont petites, ont besoin d'une rénovation (le porte serviette par exemple risque de tomber d'un moment à l'autre), ne regardez surtout pas sous le lit car c'est déguelasse et le reste de la chambre laisse également à désirer. Mais la propreté manque dans tout l'hôtel, ne regardez pas les coins dans la salle à manger vous n'y mangerez plus. Et la plage est égalememt sale. La tv ne fonctionne pas pendant 3 jours on nous dit qu'il passera dans 5min, on doit attendre dans la chambre, il n'est jamais passé. On a dû réclamer 4 fois et on nous fait sentir que si on n'a rien de positif à dire quand doit se taire. Le personnel n'est en gros pas super sympa, mais il y a heureusement quelques exceptions. Au niveau repas et boissons, du jamais vu. Je n'étais encore jamais dans un hôtel où la nourriture ainsique les boissons étaient si mauvaises. Pas de variété, tous les jours la même chose sauf avec une autre sauce. Tous les aliments trop cuits, trop durs. Impossible de couper la viande. Les pâtes de la bouillie. Pas assez de plats grecs, pas assez de légumes. Le seul bon point sont les desserts. De plus pour un hôtel familial les toilettes sont beaucoup trop loin, bonne chance pour les petits pour y arriver à temps . On en a parlé à l'hôtel. Ils étaient très étonnés, jamais personne n'aurait critiqué les points nommés. C'est drôle que parmi notre bus de voyageur on était déjà à 3 familles et que nous en avons rencontrés d'autres sur les lieux. Plus jamais!

Right let’s get started with the good things. . Good service and animation team very friendly .Main hall dinner food was quite nice .Really great location only problem 2 shops on site and no local shops nearby .On site shops have an okay price but pair of goggles cost 15€ which is alright . Good limited time snacks including slushes popcorn ice cream cotton candy cakes and cookies. .Nice overall interior of reception and bars .Plenty of places to eat and bars. Now to the bad .Inside of rooms are dated .beds are solid and hard to sleep on in family rooms,however in single room beds are fine .I didn’t like seeing the boss shouting at other staff .I had to buy a float at 13€ because pools are freezing. Ok entertainment. . Some grubby bits of it. But overall pretty good sadly also pretty bad. Expectations were high I think they were part met

Zeer goed hotel! Heerlijk gegeten, veel variatie. Iedere avond was er een thema, italiaans, oosters.. waardoor je niet steeds hetzelfde hoefde te eten. Ontbijt en lunch was ook heel goed. Super veel keuze in cocktails! We kregen iedere dag schone handdoeken op de kamer. Badhanddoek service is ook echt top! Hele vriendelijke mensen. Kortom; wij hebben een hele fijne vakantie gehad en komen zeker terug!

Staff at hotel very polite and courteous especially the young guy who works in the pool bar. Pillows and beds not the most comfy but we’re going ok Food readily available and cater for everyone. Cleanlines really good only thing room had gaps in the ceiling for n the baynroom with empty void space above got eaten by mosquitoes. On all would definitely recommend hotel

This is an honest review . We was meant to stay at Stella palace in Crete over Easter but our flights were cancelled due to the strikes in Greece . We managed to get our money back and had to re book a hotel within a week . Unfortunately we couldn’t get Stella at the price we originally booked for so we booked this hotel in Faliraki . Ok so when we first entered the hotel I noticed a fusty smell and I wasn’t massively impressed . A lady was at the desk complaining about her room so I was very apprehensive at the start . I had already upgraded my rooms on booking . When I got to the room it was very dated . My son’s rooms view was facing a brick wall which he wasn’t bothered about as he’s 18 but still it wasn’t great . The rooms weren’t that clean , shabby and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. It was 3 am in the morning when we arrived so in all honesty I just wanted my bed . I woke up the next morning and explored the hotel more . There are areas in the hotel that are 5 star worthy as in the stylish designs and cleanliness so it made me feel a little bit better about the room which I would say is more like a 2 /3 star apartment. The pools were nice and the kids club . The water slides were rubbish and dated and kids were getting stuck half way down . The drinks are poured in paper cups and the food in the main restaurant was poor ! It was cold , slow at stocking up and repetitive. I hardly ate tbh and lived off pasta . The kids hardly ate and lived off pancakes and chips . I felt this and the rooms spoiled the holiday ! However the food in the dinner area was a lot better and there was donuts candy floss and waffles in the snack bar . The entertainment was good, not amazing but good , we played pool towards the end of the holiday and the kids were in the amusement area . The beach isn’t a beach it’s basically gravel . All in all the hotel has 5 star qualities mixed with 2 star qualities so maybe that’s why it has a 4 star rating . The shops over the road are cheaper for inflatables than the shop in the hotel . Also the hotel rooms are so noisy there’s no chance of sleep here . The maids are walking into your room at 8am and you never get a break , I’m not sure what they did apart from change a bin and towels because twice our bed wasn’t changed . I just don’t see the need of them walking in so early in the morning . I get if it was like 11am but it starts from 7:30 am and there so so loud . We had a nice holiday because as a family we had fun but for someone who goes abroad 3/4 times a year in 4/5star hotels I think the hotel is very misleading with the rooms and food . How we like I said some areas are stylish and spotless I just think it needs a massive update in a few areas . We went to Rhodes town and that’s beautiful there’s a bus outside the hotel that takes you there for 3 euros . We went to faliraki beach and trust me it’s an absolute dump I wouldn’t bother . Lovely hotel, vast array of food at each sitting ( buffet style), as well as snacks available throughout the day. Drinks available all day also. Ample sunbeds, good size pools and water slides. Animation team did a great job. Slight let down was our shower leaking, having reported it on day one, the maintenance chap turned up to sort the day before we checked out - even then it didn't get fixed. The staff were all polite and lovely. Noticed alot of the other guests were German and generally lacked simple thankyou's and please, ( just commentating on our experience) e.g a pair of older boys playing with a ball in the pool threw it onto my daughters sunbed knocking over her food she was eating- not one apology. Another couple let the door hit my son where they could have held it open for a second.
