Achousa Hotel

We hebben over het algemeen echt een prima vakantie gehad bij Achousa hotel. Als je het hebt over de prijs van deze accommodatie is het eigenlijk prima, je mag er niet al te veel voor verwachten. Zo moet je hier ook heengaan. Het gaan niet de lekkerste bedden, fijnste stoelen en luxeste kamers zijn die je ooit hebt gezien, maar het voldoet wel. De bedden zijn oud en hard, oud is het meeste wel in het gebouw. Zoals gezegd het appartementje zelf stelt niet veel voor. Daarentegen heeft het hotel echt een heerlijke weide met prachtig zwembad en leuke poolbar waar je tegen prima prijzen kunt eten. De andere bar, aan de voorzijde van het hotel, is een heerlijke plek om de dag af te sluiten. Je wordt door het super vriendelijke personeel van het Achousa geholpen in alles wat je nodig hebt. Wij wilde een andere kamer door gehorige buren, en dat was geen enkel probleem. Extra kussen? Ook geen enkel probleem. Personeel is dus erg vriendelijk! Afstand naar het centrum van Faliraki is te lopen, al is wel een stukje wat je misschien niet de gehele vakantie wilt lopen. Huur daarom zeker een auto, dat kan bij het appartement maar is goedkoper elders. Wil je dus een budget vakantie, met heerlijk zwembad met poolbar buiten de drukte van Faliraki? Dan is dit een goede keuze

Still here ATM. We leave today. 13/9/24. If you want a 5 star hotel and service, do not come here. However, if a good traditional Greek hotel is what you want, you won't get much better than this. I'll try and keep it straight to the point. Pro's ...... Room is fine. Shower good. Basic bed but slept well. Towels changed every 2 days but if needed just find 1 of the cleaners and get fresh ones daily. Nice balcony (316) with pool and sea view. Beautiful pool. Food is nice. We're self catering so didn't much at the pool bar. (All the self catering appliance work fine) Reasonably priced. Supermarket is a 10min stroll. Out of the hotel to the main road and turn left. Past the BP garage and it's on the set of traffic lights. Falaraki is within walking distance too. Out of the hotel and left. Approx 35min walk. Used a taxi to get there 1 night. The ride took about 3mins and it's a minimum charge of €10. There's a few good bars you pass on the way down there too. Hired a car for 1 day and a quad for another day. Approx €100 for both but there is a bus stop right outside the hotel on the main road. Lindos town an absolute must ! Con's ..... Pay room tax on arrival. €21 for a 7 night stay. Air con €10 per week. Safe box (in reception) approx €25 per week. A few younger groups here both male and female. Slightly loud at times but we've all been there haven't we ? Don't worry about the main road. The hotel is in its own grounds and traffic noise is minimal. Would we return ..... definitely yes. That's all folks, enjoy your stay. price quality ratio very good. the first night the bed was shocking and the air conditioner made a lot of noise, the toilet also didn't work, but since we arrived in the middle of the night we couldn't complain right away. in the morning we told about these shortcomings and we immediately got a new and bigger room, where everything was in order. the hotel's pool area is quiet and the location is good. walking distance to the beach and town. the staff is super friendly, but the food at the pool is not very good, you should go to eat elsewhere. all in all a good hotel anyway
