"Overall good in all areas but at the same time we missed that little extra. The breakfast was good but not superb. The service was good, but at the same time they forgot something we had asked for. The water containers with drinking water were empty during the afternoon coffee and right up until dinner. Newspaper shelves were there but gaping empty."

"Probably not renovated since opening. Sewage smell in corridors and bathrooms. Silverfish in the suitcase that was in the room. Breakfast below all criticism. You had to be happy if you got a plate. Vegetables and fruit probably cut the night before, there was like a dry film on the vegetables and fruit. The skim milk was lukewarm. The coffee was good though!"

"We really liked this site from the moment we arrived. There are multiple small camping areas spread about separated by trees so even though it’s a large site, it doesn’t feel it. The sites are also a good size. There are four service blocks so you are never too far away from facilities. The facilities nearest us were modern and well maintained. Reception staff were very helpful and there is a small well stocked shop and a bistro that we didn’t use. The site has multiple water views and wide gravel pathways for running, biking and hiking. Our only issue was with the positioning of some vehicles which seemed to breach the suggested guidelines but was never checked or corrected, meaning some neighbours were a bit close for comfort and privacy. Still a really good place to stay and recommended as in an excellent position close to town."
