"It's a traditional house with traditional management. It starts, as is customary in Japan, with taking off your shoes at the entrance. You're given slippers. The owner makes sure everything is done correctly. Only Japanese is spoken, but that's no problem since there's a translator. You sleep in a room on the floor with a flat mattress, a blanket, and a cherry pit pillow. Breakfast is also traditional: fish, rice with a raw egg and soy sauce, tea, and other items. There's a wonderful onsen (hot spring). There isn't a bathroom per se, just a sink and toilet, each separate. The two owners of the guesthouse are extremely kind and helpful. We were driven to and from the restaurant free of charge. If you appreciate or want to experience traditional Japanese hospitality, this is the perfect place."

"Great little traditional inn run by a local family! The location is right in the middle of town, and the room was great, we were even given a tea pot which was nice. The pillows weren't the best but otherwise I had no complaints at all."

"Starting on August 21, I booked a house with private soup and bathroom. You can see a beautiful sunset for two consecutive days. Breakfast is Japanese cuisine, a variety of side dishes, tofu, eggs, salad, a fish, miso soup, rice, snacks, tea, enough. In the afternoon, a snack is usually given. At breakfast, the tatami is put away, and at dinner, the tatami is laid. Kaiseki cuisine at night is too rich, a variety of seasonal seafood, tempura, but horse beef, ice cream, value for money, eat delicious. The point is that the staff here is too warm. I feel like taking care of me like my mother. I am kind, enthusiastic, attentive, and thoughtful, as if at home. When I said goodbye, I was reluctant and I almost shed tears. Goodbye, everyone in the thirty-seven halls. I really hope that in winter in the snow, soak in hot springs, eat and live crabs, and see the kind and hospitable people again."

"The host family was really friendly, helpful and nice although they do not speak much English. We booked a room with private bath in a tatami room facing the sea. Although Kami is a quiet town, we decided to stay here for the night to relax and taste the Matsuba crab. Thoroughly enjoyed both the stay as well as the crab dinner. The breakfast was good too. The property even serves Japanese cuisine and cakes too. On the ground floor, there is even a lovely cafe for afternoon tea."

"كانت هذه ثاني إقامة لي في مدينة ايوا لأنني كنت معجبا خلال الزيارة الأولى قبل عام. الفندق يقع على بعد مسافة قصيرة سيرا على الأقدام من محطة شيباياما. العشاء كان لذيذ مع السلطعون الطازج والحلوى نفذوا بضع طرق. الإفطار كان رائعا كذلك. المنتجع كامل والغرف تتميز بالساحرة شكرا على الاقامة الرائعة والميكان الطيب. اتمنى ان يعرف اكثر الاشخاص عن هذا المكان وزيارته"
