"This was my second stay at Iwaya because I was impressed during the first visit a year ago. The inn is just a short walk from Shibayama station. Dinner was delicious with fresh and sweet crab done a few ways. Breakfast was wonderful as well. The whole inn and the rooms are full of charm. Thank you for the wonderful stay and the mikan. I hope many more people will know about this place and visit it."

"I used it on a ski family trip! It was a very cold day, so the room didn't warm up with air conditioning alone, and I was saved with a kotatsu. I was stuck in the key, but I was relieved to respond by phone."

"I stayed here for skiing. This is my second time. The warming pork miso hotpot was carefully adjusted to taste by the staff, and even my 4-year-old daughter, who doesn't like the spiciness of ginger, ate it up. Recommended with Tajima beef sukiyaki. I love that I can always have coffee just a few steps from my room. We had a delicious breakfast the next morning, and the fact that we could walk to the lift station without having to move our car was a plus. In addition to skiing, I enjoyed it as a gourmet hot spring trip."
