Hotels in Tagong Grassland, Kangding

We really enjoyed our time at Tuoma Homestay. The rooms were clean, cosy and had a nice local feel. It’s a peaceful place that gives you a real sense of the area. What made it special was how welcoming and thoughtful the host was. We always felt well looked after and it made travelling here so much easier and more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a comfortable place with kind people and an authentic atmosphere, Tuoma Homestay is a great choice.

Excellent hotel in the borders of the Tagong grasslands. When we arrived, we were a bit worried that it was too far from the town, but the owner gracefully drove us there the next morning. After sitting down and watching the view for a while, we were completely satisfied for having chosen this place. The owner is extremely nice, we talked with him a few times. The hotel is on the land behind his family's home, so it's all very cozy. When we had problems calling a taxi from Muya temple, he went there to pick us up himself. He also assisted us on finding a ride back to Kangding.The ******* breakfast was very good, as well. Even though it is a tent and the toilet is shared, we found it cleaner than almost all hotels in the same price range in China. The beds are also nicely soft.

We went there at around 10 o'clock in the evening, and the owner had already turned on the heater and electric blanket in the room. The room was very cozy, ******* style, and the decoration was very tasteful. The facilities are complete, including smart toilet, constant temperature shower, and heater in the bathroom. It was not cold at all when we visited there in November. The boss is very enthusiastic and served as our tour guide for a day. We had a lot of fun and also ate their special ******* food. It is a treasure homestay that deserves to be discovered by more people. I highly recommend it❤️

I highly recommend this accommodation. The host is very hospitable and friendly. We called before we arrived at night to care about whether it was safe to arrive. If you need it, you can contact them at any time. If you arrive at the purpose, you can quickly let the house roast for warmth. There is a delicious breakfast in the morning. The experience is very good!

The hotel was fantastic! From the moment we arrived at the front desk, it exuded the feel of a grand ******* hotel. The room amenities were excellent, and it was very clean. The owner was incredibly kind; seeing we were suffering from altitude sickness, they went above and beyond to help us. Most importantly, the hotel's location is superb. Tagong Monastery is right outside the hotel's front door; it's genuinely the closest hotel to the monastery in the entire Tagong area. We were also fortunate enough to witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' this time. It seems that hotels located so close to the monastery truly have a special kind of blessing. 🙏🙏🙏

Due to the hasty journey, I didn’t shoot, but the boss was really great, the sunglasses were very handsome, the blankets were prepared in the room (anti-freezing hahaha), help wash the car, help clean the snow on the car, and take the luggage, it is really good, and it is very cheap. If you want to ride a horse in the Tagong grassland, you can also find the boss. There is also a restaurant on the first floor downstairs, and the cold chicken is also great. Real accommodation experience, strong push.

This guesthouse is truly charming, beautifully decorated in an authentic ******* style. It's the owner's personal residence, offering a quaint and elegant atmosphere. Both the owner and his wife are wonderful people with outstanding service-mindedness. Their child is exceptionally cute and polite; we all absolutely adored them. The owner is an artist, which was quite interesting! Unfortunately, I was suffering from altitude sickness that day and didn't get a chance to chat much with him. He was incredibly caring and attentive to our condition, for which we are truly grateful. The breakfast was lovely and could be delivered right to our room. They even helped us order takeout for dinner and lit a fire for us downstairs. We are so thankful for all their help. Although it might be hard for us to visit Western Sichuan again, we still wish you all the very best and thank you profoundly!

I didn't have time to take pictures of the interior of the room, so the luggage was placed in a mess. It was the same as the pictures I saw when booking. There was no difference. Because of the altitude, I didn't have to take a shower when I checked in. But fortunately, the room had oxygen supply facilities, which is good in high-altitude areas. Very critical. The room price is not very cost-effective, but I personally am not used to staying in Tibetan-style B&Bs, and the breakfast here is very rich and delicious. Great location, pet friendly, highly recommended

I had an amazing stay. The family was super welcoming and made me feel at home. They were very attentive and helped me with any questions. Great value for money.

This is really great. To be frank, the hospitality is warm and friendly. Any problems can be solved through communication. It is definitely good news for people with altitude sickness. Secondly, I stayed for 3 days, and I felt like I was sleeping at home when I slept in the bed for the next two days. I came here to shoot a pre-wedding MV. It is also very close to the store where it was shot. The room is very tidy. The sisters will help with the luggage. There is also good night milk before going to bed, which is delicious! They presented us with Hada before we left. We had been feeling uncomfortable due to altitude sickness in Tagong for the past few days, but we were grateful for this store, this room and the enthusiastic sisters, and we spent the whole time comfortably! Highly recommended! Goodnight milk: hot yak milk, very delicious!
