Accommodation room from May 20th to May 22nd, 2O23, Room Nos. 1705 and 1712), I want to share my experience with the property from Day 1 to Day 3. Whereas for Point No. 5, you must pay proper attention because it is something we experience differently with your property, and it was unexpected, being your guest. 1.) Booking Experience: It was wonderful. A special call out to Mr. Satnam Singh, who assisted us with our booking and kept us supported later on with the amendments based on requirements.
Besides that, the front desk staff is very supportive and keeps helping us with the early check-in process. 2.) Stay: Stay met expectations with quality and cleanliness. 3.) Housekeeping and room service: All staff are wonderful with polite behaviour and are on route with great hospitality. 4.) Restaurants: Again, all staff are wonderful, have polite behaviour, and serve with great hospitality. The chef specially met with us, and we submitted a special review for him with clicks. Food is delicious. 5.) Bar & Lounge | LIV & UV Experience: 1st Night: First, we visited the LIV, where the service manager updated us that it was booked for a birthday party, so we dined out at the dining restaurant.
After that, we dropped our kids off in the room and came back to the UV Club to spend some quality time. We entered and stayed in the club area inside because it was too hot outside. At the table, we didn't find any reservation boards.
The service manager came to our desk and asked to leave the place because, as per his statement, "the area was blocked for their local Kanpur visitors." When I asked, "Is it blocked under reservation?" So he replied, "No, actually, it is the weekend, and local people come here to enjoy it." So we replied that we were your guests and came here to enjoy this place too.
They refused and pulled us out by saying, "Sorry, sir, aap yaha nahi beth sakte." My wife and I went out without creating any scene because we are frequent travellers and don't want to spoil others' quality time. You can check our room number in your club register to authenticate. (entry must be with my name & room number, probably 1705 or 1712) Landmark is not the first property we visited for a luxury experience. And we are from Delhi-Noida, where we are well aware of the Pub Norms.
Neither do we bring our kids with us, nor do we visit in the offending dress. Over the past few decades, we have visited several cities and experienced classic experiences with wonderful properties. That night, we left and moved on. Second Night: Again, my wife visited to dine out for LIV, and again, the service manager told me that if you want to dine in here, you need to pre-book this place. My wife asked if we are your guests and to visit this place how often it is possible if we can pre-book when I am visiting Kanpur for the first time.
