Sentrim Elementaita Lodge

So beautiful! We loved the spacious rooms which were nicely decorated and had very comfortable beds. We loved the location right on the lake. The food and service was excellent- everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We were treated like royalty. This resort is highly recommended in our opinion and we would definitely stay here again and again 🥰

The property is bang on the lake. The rooms right in front of the lake have absolutely serene views and it was so rejuvenating to just sit in the balcony / patio and sip the morning cuppa. The property is nice, well maintained. Rooms are spacious, bathrooms are basic, but what makes this resort special is the service. The staff is so helpful and courteous, and Always ready to assist with a smile! Special mention to Maximilian & Charles for their warm hospitality and Winnie/Windie (at the restaurant) for always serving with a smile! There’s a pool with views of the lake too. Swings in the lawn, and plenty of sitting areas throughout the garden in front of the lake. The buffet at the restaurant wasn’t very good, specially for vegetarians. We stayed 3 nights but weren’t really satisfied with the buffet.

I’m honestly struggling to put into words how amazing my stay was at this lodge. Could not fault a thing! The staff were so welcoming and helpful. Special shout out to Meshack and Kennedy. The food was so tasty and the views from the reception were insane. One tip - The young kids of the village play football at 5pm across the road - go meet them, I bet they’ll make your trip at the Sentrim Elementaita lodge that bit sweeter. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting. 10/10. Tréasa

The drive to the lodge was great on the main road . The dirt road to the lodge could do with some grading. More signage should be placed on the dirt road. 1. Staff - The staff are amazing ,very helpful and polite . Shout out to Damaris at the spa and the waiters at the dining area. 2. The food was amazing and the variety was good . 3. The views are breathtaking especially at night .The sleeping worrier hill looked so beautiful during the day. 4. The rooms are spacious , clean and the water in the shower is Hot . You just need to wait for a minute unlike some hotels where the water has to run for a long time .The view from my room was amazing. 5. Having visited the resort during the weekend we expected some music where we could dance . Unfortunately the music system was not working . Hope it will be up and running soon. Overall our stay was great , i will definitely return.

My wife and I had the most beautiful valentine night. Everything was well thought out. There was variety across all meals.The rooms were well kept and aired . The staff are very positive and ready to assist. Shout out to Kelvin the barister for the cocktail class and Gideon for ensuring our stay was worthwhile.

I visited the sentrim Elementaita on a spontaneous getaway from Nairobi to just catch a break from the city hustle. First thing is it's only slightly over two hours away from Nairobi which is just the right amount of driving for such a break. Secondly, it's located right off the main highway if you are not too bothered by the dirt road to the resort. But on to the meat of my review. 1. Service is above par, special mention goes to Charles, Gideon, Kelvin and Evans who made me feel like a king at whose beck and call they attend to. 2. The food was amazing and which is well ip to standard to the best hotels in the city. 3. The lake views and the variety of birds, something every human should experience a least once in a lifetime. 4. The bed was comfortable, hot water was hot enough and the rooms quite large. Would I go again, absolutely yes. Is the pricing right, yes it is based on level of service. So a very very nice hotel correctly prices.
