"It's OK, one night stopover before going to Kenting. It's close to the subway station with luggage, and there are many delicious foods around. The facilities are OK, it's more cost-effective if you travel alone and are not picky. It's clean, but it's a bit old and there's no sound insulation. It can be seen that the boss is attracting young customers, haha, and he also gave a small cake for writing a review"

"The aunt who traveled to Taiwan alone for the first time in her life! One day stay in Kaohsiung! Destination Alishan! Poor Mandarin! Thank you to the Japanese and ********* beauty who works the morning service at the front desk for your great help! Guidance on how to get to and from Alishan and take the bus!
Shoufu is the right place for me! The location is clearly next to Liuhe Night Market, about a 5-minute walk! It is also next to the MRT subway (at Exit 11 of Formosa Island)
The location is very good. The room is tidy and very good. The breakfast is rich!"

"I booked the Hotel Bigang Xiziwan with great confidence, but the result was disappointing. There is nothing wrong with the hotel itself, but I would like to sincerely remind netizens who book rooms online that not every room has a beautiful sea view, and there is a big difference between room 31 and room 14. No. 31 Shaochuan Street is farther away from the sea view, and the view is half blocked by the large white circular building of Shaochuantou Park. In addition, the closer the room is to the interior, the more likely it is to have a full sea view, but this cannot be determined from the online booking.
Take me for example. I was very happy to book a deluxe double room with sea view, but when I arrived at the 31st, I found that the room was not as big as I imagined, and the view outside the window was half blocked by Shaochuantou Park. After asking the front desk, I paid extra and moved to room 14 on the 5th floor. However, since it is a side room, the view is somewhat blocked by Shaochuantou Park. The room does not have a balcony, but it has a bathtub. When I asked if I could change to a room further inside? The answer I got was that I had to raise the price. So I can only suggest to friends who want to stay here that you'd better make sure your room has a full sea view, otherwise you will really spend a lot of money to be disappointed.
Another point is that the counter and the room are in different buildings, and the restaurant does not have an elevator, so you have to climb to the second floor by yourself. Not recommended for people with limited mobility or the elderly."

"It’s a very old building. It looked clean but there was smoke smell in my room. The pillows and blankets were really old as well. They had lumps and the color is old dirty white . I also got bug bites. The staff were nice, though. The breakfast was not great but tolerable. They really need to renovate that building."
"The hotel front desk staff is very good, polite and helpful. The hotel has free parking near the hotel. In addition, there is a 24-hour snack bar in the hotel lobby, with biscuits, ice cream, steamed buns, coffee, tea, orange juice, etc....
The hotel has a simple breakfast, which tastes good
After putting two double beds in the 4-person room, the space is not very large, and there is only a round table and a chair. If you want to eat in the room, there is no space. The bathroom space is large, but the tiles next to the bathtub are a little moldy. It would be better if they could be cleaned more frequently.
A hotel with good value for money, satisfied"

"The room is clean and comfortable, with complete facilities. The bathroom has a large bathtub for bathing, a large shower and a small shower for showering, and multiple handrails are very considerate. The 6-foot wide bed is very comfortable and does not block the space in the room. The store is also generous. The room comes with 2 bottles of water, 2 cups of noodles, 2 cans of drinks, tea bags and coffee. Although there is an electric kettle in the room, there is also a hot and cold water dispenser in the corridor outside, which is very convenient. There are also popcorn, coffee machines, hot and cold water dispensers, paper cups, computers, and football machines in the lobby for guests to use. In short, it is a very attentive and considerate management, highly recommended!"

"The room is big and the location is very good
The bed was great and the water pressure was great
Hygiene is no problem
The room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke, and turning up the air conditioner didn't help.
I stayed for only three nights and the room smelled heavily of cigarette smoke on two days.
My friend lives on the 5th floor and there is no cigarette smell.
I live on the 3rd floor. Let me give you a reference."
"The location of the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung is better than the location of the Grand Hotel Taipei. Also, the view from the guest room at this hotel was better than the one that my parents got when staying at the Grand Hotel Taipei. The view at the Grand Hotel Kaohsiung faces the front of the hotel with trees and the water fountain. The view at the Grand Hotel Taipei was the parking lot. The subway is a bit far from the hotel. The room was quite big and the price was fine. Also, the room was clean and tidy."

Outstanding
SSxoronService was great! Everyone was super polite and there was always someone who was fluent in multiple languages. Very clean. I loved the coed outdoor pool on the upper level as well as the same-sex hot tub and sauna rooms. Best part was the food! I have attached photos of the food I got there (all included for free with executive floor rooms).
Breakfast was amazing! I booked the executive floor room (so basically any room on floors 18-20). Executive rooms comes with breakfast by default even if you don't book one that explicitly includes the breakfast. There's actually 2 options for breakfast. There's the Nikko Room Executive breakfast on the top floor where there's a made to order menu (2 choices/day) as well as a buffet of Hors d'oeuvre style foods. The first day we ordered bruleed banana with pancake and egg and then this crepe thing. I preferred the breakfast on the second floor at the Serena All day Restaurant. Serena Restaurant had Haagen Daz ice cream and a greater variety of foods including choose your fruit juice bar, noodle station, lots of buffet style western and asian food, ham by the slice, they also had a cart they pushed around with Hong Kong style dim sum and also another cart for bread.
Booking the executive floor rooms also gave you afternoon tea (3-5pm) which was Hors d'oeuvres and they had a fridge of drinks including, juice, soda, and beer. One day they had a whole rack of fresh honeycomb that you could slice off and eat.
Executive room also gives you Cocktail hour which you can choose from 2 drinks on the menu that they make for you or there's alcohol on the table you can pour yourself. It's unlimited drinks. There's also Hors d'oeuvres for cocktail hour.
Location is decent. It's quiet but not very close to major attractions. It's close to Costco so we went several times. Trains are about a 10 minute walk away so not that close. Not many nearby attractions but that's more of the layout of KaohSiung, we walked to the train and went to the art pier as well as cijin old street, and the Love's Lookout.

SsaturncatLovely stay at this hotel. The feel is a little dated but otherwise everything was very clean (especially for Taiwan standards) and they offer a welcome drink + all you can snacks + a pretty impressive breakfast buffet with plenty of vegan options. I would happily stay here again.

JJoThe hotel offered their courtesy to upgrade our room, the room was very spacious and clean. Swimming pool in the hotel was also an attraction. Staff was nice and kind. Hotel location was around 10-15mins walk from the core shopping district and MRT station which was acceptable to us. It was a memorable experience staying at the hotel overall.

TTianshunThe location is excellent, the service is very positive and polite, the room feels good, it would be even happier if there is a bathtub, the breakfast room uses vegetarian food, and the placement of the five-spice vegetarian, egg-lact vegetarian, and vegan dishes can be more clearly distinguished.

GGuest UserIt was right next to the MRT Cianjin exit. The room had wooden floors and a large window with a screen that partially opened. There were two bottles of bottled water and two bottles of sparkling water, as well as shampoo, body soap, and hand soap. The shower booth was spacious and had strong, hot water.
The top floor was a lounge with a water server, coffee, tea, snacks, fruit, and more. It was the breakfast venue in the morning.
There were four rooms on each floor and two elevators, so there was no waiting and it was very quiet. Thank you.

@@Ann _SangleyI like breakfast it has a wide variety of choices. The rooms are small but comfortable.I just hope they still put a tooth brush and toothpaste for free. The staff are friendly and efficient. The location is perfect for going around and easy access to the train station and Uber. The Rent Car is also just beside the hotel. Near Mc Donald's, KFC and 7-11. Thanks.Airline Inn.

TTobias TI recently had the pleasure of staying at a wonderful hotel located in close proximity to the airport during my trip to Taiwan. From start to finish, my experience at this hotel was exceptional!
Firstly, the hotel's convenient location near the airport made it an ideal choice for transit travelers like myself. The complimentary drop-off service provided by the hotel ensured a hassle-free journey to catch my flight. The efficient and timely transport service offered peace of mind, especially when dealing with early morning departures.
When it comes to service, the hotel staff truly went above and beyond. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly welcome. The reception staff were knowledgeable, professional, and always ready to assist with any queries or requests. Their attention to detail and willingness to accommodate individual needs were truly commendable.
Moving on to the rooms, I was pleasantly surprised by the modern, clean, and cozy ambiance. The well-appointed rooms were spacious enough to allow for a comfortable stay. The contemporary decor and tasteful furnishings added a touch of elegance to the overall experience. I particularly appreciated the attention to cleanliness and maintenance, as everything appeared to be in pristine condition.
The hotel's amenities further enhanced my stay. The comfortable beds provided a good night's sleep after a long journey, and the well-equipped bathroom had all the necessary amenities. Additionally, the complimentary Wi-Fi kept me connected to my loved ones and allowed me to catch up on some work during my stay.
To top it off, the hotel's dining options were delightful. The in-house restaurant offered a wide array of delicious local and international cuisine, catering to various tastes and dietary preferences. The attentive and friendly staff made dining a pleasurable experience.
Overall, my stay at this Riverside hotel was nothing short of outstanding. The combination of its convenient location, excellent service, and modern, clean, and cozy rooms made it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to stay near the airport. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and impeccable service during their visit to Taiwan.

GGenevieveThe location of Han Hsien is very convenient. It’s only twenty minutes from the airport. There are coffee shops, bakeries, and markets, fruit stalls and flower shops in the neighbourhood. The Birthday Park is just around the corner. There is a pool, a spa and a Cantonese dim sum restaurant in the hotel which are all of good standard. The hotel is not new but it is well-maintained.

UUncle Agak Laen85 Sky Corner Hotel offers an intriguing proposition: budget-friendly accommodation within the iconic Tuntex Sky Tower. The building's distinctive design, resembling the Chinese character for ”high,” is a landmark in itself, and its history as a former tallest structure adds a touch of novelty.
The promise of a quiet environment is appealing for those seeking respite from the city's energy.
However, the journey to your room involves a somewhat unconventional check-in process. Reaching the 12th floor is the initial step, and as noted by previous guests, clear directions, even through booking platforms or direct communication, appear to be an area for improvement.
Upon arrival at the 12th floor, an information desk serves as the central point of contact. Here, you'll discover that the hotel operates under multiple independent management entities.
You will need to provide the specific management name associated with your reservation. This multi-operator system clarifies why the room photographs on booking applications may not uniformly represent the specific unit you will be allocated.
The check-in then directs you to the corresponding management office on the same floor. A significant highlight of the stay is the exceptional service provided at these management offices. The staff are consistently described as helpful and informative, offering valuable assistance not only with check-in procedures but also with recommendations for local attractions and insights into the hotel itself. This personal touch and dedication to guest satisfaction are commendable and create a positive contrast to the initial navigational hurdles.
The hotel's location offers practical advantages. The Lingya Ziqiang Night Market, a mere 600 meters away, provides easy access to Kaohsiung's vibrant street food scene and local culture. Furthermore, the immediate vicinity boasts an impressive number of convenience stores, with over five Seven Elevens within a 200-meter radius, including one conveniently situated on the 12th floor. This ensures that daily necessities and quick snacks are readily available.
Regarding the visual aspect of accessing your unit, the provided photographs likely depict the common areas and pathways you will navigate on the 12th floor. Without specific captions within this review format, these images will indeed become clear and understandable upon your arrival, perhaps eliciting a knowing smile as you recognize the routes.
In conclusion, 85 Sky Corner Hotel presents an affordable and tranquil lodging option within a renowned landmark. The helpfulness of the on-site management staff and the convenient proximity to a night market and numerous convenience stores are definite benefits. However, potential guests should be prepared for a slightly involved check-in process due to the multi-operator system.
The variability in room appearance based on the managing entity is also a factor to keep in mind. Overall, it offers value for money with notable advantages, but the arrival experience requires a degree of patience and understanding.

TTongueOverall is a good stay for me, especially for the location! It is very near from the Kaohsiung metro station. The service is good for this price but the only concern is cockroach! If you are okay with the little of unhygienic, you can definitely stay here. I enjoyed breakfast for two days while this is not included in the reservation I have checked.
