Find 3-Star Hotels in Kaohsiung

There’s nothing to complain. Good Hotel. The breakfast selection isn’t large, but it’s delicious. The room is clean, the water pressure is strong, and the toilet is automatic. We left our bags there for a night while we went out of town, and when we returned, the staff, who were very kind, upgraded our room. The location is great—it's between Formosa Boulevard Station and Kaohsiung Station (a little closer to the latter), so there's no need to change MTR lines.

The space is large, the bed is comfortable, there is a little smell of cigarettes, but it is fine after opening the window for ventilation. The remote control battery is dead, and the front desk will handle it immediately after notifying it. It is a good rest hotel, comfortable and spacious, and the breakfast buffet is also good.

The hotel is well-equipped and is situated in a great location. They provide a no-frills ********* breakfast every morning, and we enjoyed the drinks and snacks that are available 24/7! Although the hotel is a little dated, I appreciate that the rooms were spacious and comfortable, which was good for the price we paid. No complaints, would recommend to others and stay again when I'm back in Kaohsiung!

The second time I checked in, the room was simple and comfortable, with all the supplies. The only refrigerator was an environmentally friendly refrigerator with no freezing function. It would be inappropriate to have frozen food, but this did not affect the evaluation. Highly recommended👍👍👍

Super clean room, I am a germaphobe and I approve the hygiene and cleanliness of this hotel, some how better than some of the 4-5 stars international branded hotel (except some common area at the snack bar at ground floor was sticky). 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The staff 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻: were friendly and nice, with high quality customers (mainly locals in Taiwan). Makes me feel home! Location 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻: a “real local” night market nearby, about 6 mins of walk, 10 mins walk to Sanduo MRT(accessible exit (15 mins if you walk slow)). 3 departments stores within 10 mins walk. Value for money 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻: free self laundry, breakfast, supper, parking and snacks bar in the common area. One of the 2 hotels on my list of accommodation for Kaohsiung lol… … the other one is intercontinental kaohsiung 🤑🤑🤑

We stayed at this hotel in March. While this review is in English, we communicated to them in Chinese. We also observed that they could converse with simple English with the international guests. Service - The hotel staff were friendly. We were greeted upon entering the door, and attended to immediately. The check-in process was fast. They also explained to us about the amenities - there is an enclosed area where we can chill, enjoy free drinks and ice cream. We were also entitled to one free drink from the par per day.  Even the housekeepers were friendly. There was an elderly housekeeper on Level 8 who greeted us and offered to guide us to our rooms - was impressed by this because I wasn't expecting this from any housekeeper from any hotel! The receptionist at the level 2 morning buffet hall was also very attentive. I was looking around for the toilet, when one of the staff saw me and asked me if I needed any help. Please keep this proactiveness up :) Food - The breakfast spread was huge and the food was scrumptious. Absolutely recommend. It has a mix of local ********* dishes and western food. I especially love the ********* food spread! (see photos for some of the food options, though i didnt take photo of everything). Room - The room was sufficient and clean. Housekeeping also does a great job at tidying the room. Location - Right next to Kaohsiung Main Station. I could walk directly to the hotel from the station - it seems like the renovation works that the earlier hotel reviews talked about has been resolved, so there is no longer a need to go to the hotel in a roundabout manner.  Super convenient. Other Amenities - They have washing machines, dryers, and even an ironing board! Powder detergent is provided too. This was something we really appreciated. Also, like what I earlier mentioned, they have a hall with the free-flow ice cream and drinks, which is a great place to chill and relax - especially at night after a long day of activities.  Overall, I will recommend Kindness hotel to those staying in Kaohsiung!

The hotel's location is the best because it's close to the tourist spot ! The staff is very helpful and kind 💙Their breakfast menu is delicious and has many choices ! (I really like the fresh milk they serve, I'm looking into where I can buy it because I noticed every store they use it in there milkteas ! I forgot to ask it to the staff huhuhuhu) Btw the swimming pool is okay ! Superb hotel. Thankyou ! Jaiyo

This hotel is simple and located on the 11th floor of a building that is shared with 5 other ”hotels” on other floors, but I loved the beautifully immaculate and modern rooms. For its price (~$60/nt), the room (I sprang for the Exquisite room) is spacious, well-designed with plenty of natural lighting from a corner unit facing the funky, cool shaped Kaohsiung Port Cruise Terminal and I LOVE the restroom with a washlet!! and stone shower tiles, equipped with a 55” Google TV and preloaded movies / casting capabilities and general TV that made for great entertainment. The location is stellar (only a 3 mins walk from the R8 station ~ take exit 1... don't listen to Google Maps' instruction 😅) and it is hard to go wrong with the included hot breakfast + 24h snax in the lobby with the wonderful service from the entire staff as a cherry on top. It made working from this hotel for the past five days so delightful. and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though there are 5 lifts that move quickly. The only (and very minor; read: nit-picky) downside is that the building houses 5 ”hotels” on other floors and businesses so the elevator is almost always in use, though with the 5 lifts that move quickly, I haven't had to wait longer than 2-3 minutes to get into the next available elevator. Already looking into the Hub Hotels in Taipei when I return next year!

It took us 5 minutes from MTR station to the hotel. The room is large enough for us to open 2 large luggages at the same time. For me, there had many different TV channels to watch. As having a balcony, the view is very good. The breakfast provided is not bad as there are different types of food including local and western types. Moreover, the coffee is free for the whole day. The staff is nice and helpful.
