Hotels in Pier-2 Art Center/Yanchengpu Station, Kaohsiung

Overall experiance are up to expectation looks like a 5 stars hotels from the overall interior design. Location is good and easy access to public transport. The area has parking lot outside and surrouding are less dense during weekday. However, few points need to be noted. Less premium convenience store, room ventilation is less comfort as window are totally sealed, air cond button not reflective breakfast selection are basics.

my second stay in this hotel, good location nrar the tourist attractions Pier 2 , Love river and Kaohsiung harbour etc., also 500m walk from the nearest metro bars and restaurants all within walking distance. this time i arrived early(abt 10.30am) with the typhoon and rain outside, the guy in front desk kindly enough to let me in the room. also good to mention is the interior of the place is nice , will stay if i visit Kaohsiung again

The interior of the room is clean and the location is great. It will be my first choice hotel next time I travel to Kaohsiung. The reception staff had a good attitude and the lobby was clean and tidy. The parking management staff's guidance and service in guiding vehicles to park is excellent.

Pro: Quiet near to mrt station, variety of choice for breakfast, free flow snack & drink available at night at level 7 lounge. Cons: Room a bit aging, room with low ceiling, housekeeping staff didn't refill bathroom amenities and in room snacks when do daily cleaning even we stay for 5 nights, didn't provide luggage delivery to room service after we store luggage on first day before check in time

this is a great stay. great location, quiet and easy to get to a lot of the sights on Cijin, KW2 and Pier2 while just a short ride away from the central business district. the room itself is really clean, neat, quiet and spacious. the rooms don’t have a lot of nature light but it makes up for it with a lot of spot lighting. smart toilet, ample room to maneuver in the washroom.

In general, everything was okay (nice and cute illustrated wallpaper, nice staff), but the air quality was not good (there was a moldy smell…) maybe it wouldn’t bother most people, but since I have very sensitive nose, so it was a bit unpleasant personally.

This over 20-year-old hotel in Yancheng District has been renovated before the epidemic and looks brand new. The double room is spacious, with a separate dry and outdoor bathroom, a comfortable bathing space with sufficient hot water, and the beds and pillows make for a good sleep. Choosing this hotel for accommodation in Kaohsiung is very cost-effective, especially for friends who want to try delicious food. Within 350 meters, you can eat Acai Shredded Chicken Noodles, Duck Meat, Rice Cake City, Xiaoximen, and the Xiaodi Coffee that is highly recommended by Kaohsiung people. In addition, the Booking bookstore opened by Dr. Bird is easily accessible on foot. It is close to the MRT station and Love River. I personally recommend the SKB fountain pen store at Exit 1 of Yancheng MRT Station, which is worth a special trip. Check in to the hotel. Drinks and cookies are available on the first floor from 15:00 to 22:00. There are washing machines and dryers in the basement. If you stay a few more days, you can walk through the alleys and streets of Yancheng District and Hamasing and feel the charm of the old city.

The room and bathroom are clean, the staff are very friendly and attentive, and the location is excellent—close to the MRT and not too far from major attractions.

The environment is very clean! And it’s very convenient to have a self-service store! The locations of water dispensers and washing machines are marked on each floor, which is very considerate~~ When I entered the room, the space was very clean and I liked it~~ We also prepared an extra quilt for customers to use, which I think is very considerate.
