Had a wonderful stay for New Years week 2024/5. The staff were outstanding really did best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Very family friendly and welcoming. The checkin was quick and able to get dinner straight away which was delicious. Our kids wanted to eat here every day. Normally I would not like hotel food but this never disappointed. The lift pass was sorted so no queuing. The pass for Tauren Spa was there and used each evening that is about 10min walk or can get the free local bus. We enjoyed the walk. To get to the ski lifts it’s just across the river. Lift up then a link lift up to glacier. If have non skier they can get all the way to the top on lifts and back down. There are ski storage onsite or at the base of the lift has been reserved incase that is preferred. Really think of everything. We chose to have the New Year’s gala dinner. There was a welcome drink outside then into resturant. There was a magician who came around to each table and then a show for the kids. The staff in the resturant were all friendly and knew our preferences which is lovely. Breakfast was fresh and had all you would want. We did eat else where but then came back. Second time in Kaprun. It is a great spot for family holiday. Highly recommend

Wir waren mit Freunden zum essen dort. Das Kalbfleisch Wienerschnitzel war zäh wie Leder und die Kalbslebern trocken wie die Sahara.Unsere Reklamation wurde zur Kenntnis genommen. Das wars dann auch schon. Für ein Sorry hat es nicht gereicht. Mein Fazit, nie wieder im Auhof essen!

Location great , the owner Gerald is very nice to your face , however any problems he just ignores you , he will not answer his phone and pretends you havent called ! Slimy man stay away , we have heard in the town that it’s very typical of him ! Well known

Wir waren schon einige Male im Wirtshaus zu Gast und jedesmal begeistert . Hervorragende Küche und toller Service. Portionen und Preise sind absolut angemessen. Schön gestalteter Gastraum und sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Das Gulasch ist Weltklasse!!!

Wir waren hier einmal zum Abendessen, und einmal zum Eis essen. Beides Mal sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service - leckeres Abendessen und auch spezielle Wünsche werden gern erfüllt. Für das Eis - ein Geheimtipp: das Eis wird dort selbst hergestellt - nach einer Wanderung einfach auf der Terrasse einkehren und genießen.

We had a short little 3 night stay in Kaprun and chose the auhof for our stay. The 2 bdrm apartment comes well equipped and the views from the second floor are great. The owner we very good in communication and always had a big smile and was eager to help with any wishes. I would recommend the breakfast too. It is a nice spread and they are more than happy to make you a nice cappuccino in the morning.
