"Wow, what a place to stay while exploring the Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangare National Park! The Hotel itself was first class and the staff went above and beyond. Our family had an age range from two to seventy two and when one person in our group was tired and decided to relax at the lodge rather than go on one of the safaris, she was revitalized in their lovely spa. Neema at the front desk took care of all our needs and Pascal at the restaurant was on top of everything. The chef and Maitre De (Sorry, I forgot their names) were top notch. Hats off to them and the entire staff at this beautiful lodge! I would highly recommend Turaco!"

"Due to a big goof-up by our travel agent, we had to spend a night at Karatu, just outside the Ngorongoro conservation area and we picked Omegaview that same morning we were due to check in as it had availability. The hotel comes at a price way cheaper than the luxury camps or lodges and so obviously, its facilities are more basic. The staff tried very hard to please us and even made dishes which we requested when we found the buffet did not have much for vegetarians. The hotel is decent and provides value for money,"

"What a lovely experience I had staying at this lodge. The staff was friendly and professional and always had the warmest greetings. The environment and rooms were always clean and safe. The food was immaculate. Feels like home cooked food made with love. We stayed for 2 nights and had absolutely no complaints. We stayed as part of our tours package and therefore, I am not very sure of the price points but whatever it is, they deserve that and more. So I tipped well. Must stay lodge."

Hotel is on a busy road so it's very noisy throughout the night. 3 course meal available for £20, but no option to just have a main course. Steak was nice, but probably not worth the price. Upon request, breakfast was put in a box for us to take with us on safari. "
