This could be arguably the most unpleasant unprofessional experience I have ever had in my life. I booked a specific room 6 months prior to my travel dates for a special occasion. A few days later, I received a message saying my room was "upgraded". I responded immediately kindly asking not to be upgraded because I did not wish to change rooms. I even asked if there was reason for this proposed change. No response. A couple of days before my travel day, I contacted the hotel for a typical confirmation, and I again underlined the fact that I did not wish to be moved to another room. The receptionist who was clearly not experienced tried to persuade me by using words like "You will go to a premium room" "more luxurious room" and many more stereotypical phrases. I insisted on staying with my original selection. The next day, the day before out trip, we received a message that our reservation was cancelled And when you think it doesn't get any worse, here you are: My reservation was not cancelled, despite the message I received, so I tried to call the hotel and find out if there was a mistake. They did not pick up the phone, and when I insisted, they hung up ! My reservation was finally cancelled late at night, and I spend all night looking for alternate accommodation. This is by far the worst customer experienced I have ever received in my life
