Unique Blue! Resort and Villas Adults Only

Нам очень задержали самолет, и хоть по условиям, заселение до 21:00, нас заселили в 1:00 без проблем. Мы бронировали номер с выходом в бассейн, но нас переселили в виллу с личным бассейном) спасибо вам огромное за это) благодаря этому наши 2 дня на Крите - были потрясающими. Так же, нам в номере оставили ужин, чтоб мы могли покушать после тяжелого перелета) Вилла огромная и просторная, бассейн был с теплой водой) номер очень стильный) До пляжа всего лишь 2 минуты пешком) Еда на завтраке, обеде и ужине - просто потрясающая) вино безлимитное)

Stayed week of 21 August. Couldn’t fault the hotel. Staff constantly cleaning inside and out. Not many sun beds around the pool but could still find around 8.30. Plenty all day on the lovely beech. Plenty of choices for food over the week with the option of burgers etc from pool bar delivered to loungers. Excellent cocktails available and served by great staff. Evening entertainment not so great tbh. Reception arranged a taxi for us to visit Heraklion one day. €25 each way or could have used local bus. Was able to arrange to keep a room to 6pm on our leaving day. Was €60 but was well worth it for 4 of us to be able to enjoy our last day. Special mention to Kleo serving drinks etc in the evening who was always welcoming and remembered drinks from previous. Will certainly return.

We recently stayed at Unique Blue and while the hotel has some fantastic qualities, a number of frustrations meant it didn’t live up to expectations – and we wouldn’t return. The Positives: • Modern, stylish décor throughout – the hotel looks stunning. • Staff were faultless. Friendly, professional, and genuinely attentive – the waiters in particular made every meal feel special. • Buffet food was good quality, even if the choice was smaller than other resorts. • We had two meals at Cicada and the food was exceptional – one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. • Beautiful sandy beach stretching a long way, perfect for swimming and relaxing. • Handy option to order drinks to your sunbed via the app (when the app worked). The Negatives: • Sunbeds were “reserved” by 7am and evening seating around the pool was gone by 7:30pm – it felt like a daily competition to claim a spot. Unless you were up at dawn and had dinner very early, you didn’t stand a chance. • Loud music from Cicada regularly disturbed the hotel at night. One evening our meal there was completely spoiled by a private party with music at nightclub volume. The following Sunday, the same booming music played again to what looked like an empty room and could be heard across the hotel until after 11pm. • Our sea-view room was spoiled by the roof of Blue on the Beach restaurant. Rooms on the opposite side had better views but came with nightly entertainment noise until 11pm. • Room cleaning was thorough but inconsistent, anywhere between 9:30am and 2pm. No turn-down service or extra towels were provided. • The main restaurant’s tables and chairs looked dated compared with the rest of the hotel. • The minibar was very limited – just soft drinks, 2 waters, and 2 beers. No wine or snacks, which I’d expect at this level. • The hotel app was unreliable. Check-in failed three times, live chat didn’t work, and despite paying for Ultra All Inclusive, the app only showed the standard package (which reception couldn’t fix). • Ultra All Inclusive didn’t feel worth the cost. The drinks range was only marginally better (a few cocktails and wines, still just one local beer). The package included two nights at Blue on the Beach and two nights at Cicada, but the menu prices are relatively cheap – in hindsight, we’d rather have just paid to eat there than paid extra for the Ultra package. The included 20-minute massage was also strictly one per person – if one guest didn’t want theirs, you couldn’t transfer or extend it. • Snacks at the beach bar were very limited and underwhelming for a 5-star ultra package. Overall: Unique Blue has a stunning design, excellent staff, and some truly exceptional food at Cicada, but the reality didn’t match the 5-star promise. Between the constant battle for sunbeds and evening seating, the nightclub-level music, and the underwhelming Ultra All Inclusive, it felt more style than substance and at times more stressful than relaxing.
